The claim that the entire Universe was in one tiny dot called a singularity is absolutely stupid. If you can't even compress a bowl of water. Get a cup of water and compress it into some smaller space. It just can't be done, okay.

Actually, Fed Up, ice expands water.

Well actually ice gets bigger ... but anyway just because humans can't do something doesn't mean it's not possible. Humans can't make hurricanes (global warming excepted) but they happen anyway.
By the way, I bet if you stuck a glass of water inside the primary of a nuclear weapon it would get compressed faster than you can believe.

There is a part of an atom bomb called an implosion device that is composed of a precise arangement of high explosive components.
When this device is detonated it compresses a solid metal sphere to a smaller size. This reduces the critical mass because the atoms are closer togeather add a whiff of neutrons just before critical mass to insure detonation atcthr right time and ka-boom. Much stronger can be had by using the energy of an atomic bomb to compress a fusion bomb. Thus the hydrogen bomb.
The forces that occur in a hydrogen bomb are insignificant compaired to the forces involved in obsreved cosmic processes.
