On the November 6 broadcast of The War Room with Quinn & Rose, co-host Jim Quinn said: "The only thing that -- the only thing that gay marriage produce -- well, gay marriage doesn't produce anything that the state has an interest in. Gay sex produces AIDS, which the state doesn't have -- or should have an interest in. They should charge homosexuals more for their -- for their health insurance than they charge the rest of us." Quinn made the comment while discussing the passage of a California ballot initiative to amend the state constitution to ban same-sex marriage.

Duh, I forgot. LOL!
"Gay sex produces AIDS,"
In quite the same way that faucets produce water.
And electrical outlets produce electricity.
And Ethernet and TCP/IP produce data.
"They should charge homosexuals more for their -- for their health insurance than they charge the rest of us.""
You should prove it first.
@ ftm_corey: No! AIDS is simply the absence of straight.
I normally avoid this term like the plague, but...
Word
Salad.
What gay marriage produces, what gay sex produces, what gays should pay for health insurance... pick a freakin' topic and stick with it!
So, you are saying that gay people have a higher incidence of AIDS? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you aren't ignorant enough to assume that AIDS is exclusive to homosexuals. Anyway, the higher incidence of HIV infection in the gay population is primarily due to the segregated nature of the community as well as reduced methods of leaving the dating scene, due to your adamant desire to not provide them with marriage as an escape hatch from such appealing promiscuity. It also doesn't help that it began with them in our country, so they had a headstart (even if their lead is decreasing in recent years).
If you honestly think that this means that homosexuals should be charged more for health insurance, does that mean that all men should be charged more due to living shorter on average than women? Should we charge white men more due to their increased risks for testicular cancer? Hell, just charge all African Americans more because they have an increased prevalence of HIV infections as well. Oh, but I do find it interesting to note that lesbians get off pretty well in this deal (no puns involved here), since they are comparatively low-risk.
Anyway, bigotry fail.

Jeez, can you say 'word salad'? Shall we break this one down, kids?
1) "The only thing that -- the only thing that gay marriage produce -- well, gay marriage doesn't produce anything that the state has an interest in." And why would the State have an interest in love, respect, joy and comfort? Isn't that a by-product of ANY union?
2) "Gay sex produces AIDS, which the state doesn't have -- or should have an interest in." Spontaneous virus production? Amazing! Gayness does THAT? Last I checked, HIV causes AIDS. And why shouldn't the State have an interest in HIV? Some of its constituents HAVE HIV, gay and straight.
3) "They should charge homosexuals more for their -- for their health insurance than they charge the rest of us." And why would homosexuals need to be charged more for health insurance? Isn't that a bit biased, to charge more to stay healthy (you know, so they don't 'produce' that pesky AIDS) based solely on their sexual preference?
*HEADDESK*
"...gay marriage doesn't produce anything that the state has an interest in."
Wait, so gay couples won't be taxed?
Any other single women out there want to marry me? ; )
The only thing that -- the only thing that gay marriage produce -- well, gay marriage doesn't produce anything that the state has an interest in.
The state evidently isn't interested in happy citizens leading contented lives.
"The only thing that -- the only thing that gay marriage produce -- well, gay marriage doesn't produce anything that the state has an interest in.
Because content citizens is totally something the state has any need for.
Gay sex produces AIDS, which the state doesn't have -- or should have an interest in.
Yes, AIDS just appears out of thin air wen gay sex happens. This is why heterosexuals never have to worry about HIV.
They should charge homosexuals more for their -- for their health insurance than they charge the rest of us."
No mention of people that eat junk food, drink or smoke in this, mind you...
@Canadiest
No, what he means is the state, as an entity, doesn't care to encourage AIDS...fuck, I feel dirty saying even that...
Confused?
