Oh, such as…? No, really, how win the actual HELL would making the USA a “Christian Nation” (however you define that) again fix infrastructure, economic problems, inequality & racism, police brutality, environmental issues, poverty, and all that? Methinks you didn’t think this through, Ms. Abby Johnson.
The United States' Christian roots in one unfortunate instance led to the execution of 14 women, 5 men, and a dog...for witchcraft. It supported human slavery, resulting in centuries of terrible suffering and the deadliest war in American history with more than 620,000 casualties. It promoted Prohibition, one of the most expensive boondoggles ever.
At the national level, Prohibition cost the federal government a total of $11 billion in lost tax revenue, while costing over $300 million to enforce.

How would returning to our Christian roots fix poverty, homelessness, inequality, or crime? Especially since Christian faith never fixed any of that before.
*sighs* Not this shit again. America was very explicitly founded as a secular country, and many of the Founders either weren’t very devout or had religious views that at a bare minimum diverged significantly from mainstream Christianity; for example, Thomas Jefferson claimed in his letters to be “a sect by himself” and even wrote his own version of the New Testament. There were Founders who were very pious mainstream Christians, but they were generally very religiously tolerant by the standards of the time and typically believed that religion should be kept out of government.
Look at the Taliban in Afghanistan. It's what could happen if there was noone to hold these people accountable for their abuses that they want to justify using false premises and twisted appeals to tradition that they'll twist for their purposes. Just like they already push historical revisionism, this post being evidence.

Well said.
fix infrastructure, economic problems, poverty
Non-issue for the tax-avoiding exploitative businesses exploiting religious freedoms hoping that you appeal to them when facing misery...
inequality & racism
A paradise for those promoting that under the guise of virtue with appeal to false authorities and the divine...
environmental issues
The same institutions of abuse are notorious for climate change denial disinformation propaganda and it's clear that a far-right fascist regime would also be an oil one....
Confused?
