"I had a personal experience with a Witch."
Sure you did.
"She visited me in my home and I was concerned re this as knew her reputation."
Having seen her flying on her broomstick and brewing eye-of-newt soup, eh?
"She chatted to me for a while as we sipped coffee."
That sounds remarkably evil.
"Suddenly I could no longer see her. A cloud appeared where she sat,it was grey and opaque."
Yeah, sometimes something gets in my eyes too. Just rub your eyes a little and that blurry, grey blotch will go away.
"It was really embarrasing talking to someone I could no longer see but I was not afraid."
Were there a lot of other people in your home while you were having coffee with this woman? If not, why were you embarrassed?
If you believed her to be such a powerful witch, why were you not afraid?
"Incidentally I could see everything else in the room and out the window."
Oh, good, I was worried about that. So, it wasn't something in your eyes, it was something in your mind. You see, witches, like demons, devils, angel, and "God" himself, are all just in your imagination. If you stop believing in witches, your brain won't be apt to play these tricks on you.
"After a while (10 long minutes or so)the cloud dissapeared and i could see her again."
Uh huh.
"After prayer God revealed to me that he had 'hidden'this woman so I would not see the evil she wished to frighten me with."
No, you're afflicted with Christianity, a well-known cause of delusions.
"These things are real and evil does have power."
No, those things are imaginary and the only power they have is that which you give them. I defy you to prove that witches are real. Even those who CLAIM to be witches, cannot prove that they have any powers.
"I know this was subjective but it was a real shocker at the time."
Good for you. At least you understand your report is completely subjective. Remember, delusions can SEEM very real.
"Its easy to dismiss people like me as 'nutters'and those who do satan's work love this attitude as it allows them to attack with impunity."
Yes, it is easy to dismiss people like you as nutters, however, just because I rely on evidence and reason does not mean I do "Satan's work." Satan is part of the Christian delusion which afflicts you. I suffer no such affliction.
"I have met many fellow Christians and they are dignified by the truth in their life, testimony and faith."
Whoa! Back up the bus. Many Christians wouldn't know the truth if it bite them on the butt. With little actual evidence, they have decided that the ancient fairy tales of backward, misogynistic tribesmen are the truth. Their judgement is, shall we say, suspect. Their testimony is, therefore, useless. And, faith is not a good thing. It is the belief in some assertion without any evidence supporting that assertion.
"To call a born-again Christian a liar is both hurtful and an oxymoron."
I'm sorry you're hurt, but many Christians are liars. Let's start with Saint Paul would admitted that he lied to support Christianity. And, "God" himself, who the Bibles says deludeds peope so that he can send them to hell. How about Jesus who in the Bible promised he'd be right back to rule his kingdom. Two thousand years later and Jesus has yet to return.
