I, as a homosexual, feel compelled to clear up some misconceptions that this misguided man(?) has about us. Before that, though, how is keeping a journal a requirement of being a homosexual?
Now, what follows is a short list in which I will debunk this misinformed fellow's statements.
1. I do not keep a journal
2. I didn't really 'come out' on any specific day, in fact it varies with different groups of people. I couldn't even tell you a specific day if I wanted to, as I don't remember one.
3. I won't concern myself with the whole "homosexuality is a choice" debate, but I will say I don't remember ever choosing to be a homosexual, nor a date with that. The closest I could come is giving to you the date that I accepted and embraced my homosexuality, which I still can't do because, as stated above, I don't really have any specific date memorized for it, and because I never really had to 'come to terms' with my 'tragic affliction' due to never having gone through any of that gayngst.
4. I've never been to a PRIDE march, and I don't really have any urge to go to one.
5. As stated above, I won't go into the 'homosexuality is a choice debate, but I will state that, again, I do not record any scientific studies involving the link between Homosexuality and birth.
6. Again, I've marked exactly zero days in which a court 'approved a homosexual act."
Hell, I don't even know if there has been any such acts, maybe some to decriminalize homosexual sexual activity, but other than that, I don't think the courts really legislate sexual activity. C-Tellit is probably referring to the whole "legalizing homosexual marriage" thing, which isn't really a 'homosexual act' unless you read that as 'any action undertaken by a homosexual. I guess if I brush my teeth, or read a book it's considered a 'homosexual act.'
With that out of the way, I would like to clarify that if I, or any other homosexual were to do what you have listed, it would still be considered 'human progression' in the sense that you're marking specific points of progress along a human being's life. Even if one isn't going by that metric, the day that the courts legalize gay marriage is a markable event in 'human progression.'
HIV rates are the lowest in Lesbian females, If I remember correctly, so it's funny that you bring that up. Usually I'd make some witty or sarcastic remark about people like you finding girl-on-girl hot, but you actually specifically mention lesbians in the fourth item on your list, which kind of confuses me, to be honest.
