Joseph "Stalin" McCarthy went searching most earnestly for Communists, and using the considerable power at his disposal to disrupt and ruin innocent lives while he did it.
For all his searching, remind us again of what he actually found.
There is far more evidence of, say, Russian tampering in capitalist government - in your current government, right now - then there ever was that Communism ever made any real inroads to the United States. (And why would it? The collectivist mechanism in the USSR for redistributing supplies was massive, bulky, and intrusive - significantly inferior to the simple idea people can use their disposable income however they wish.)
Social programs designed to maintain the whole of society at a minimal level of health are no more communist than are government-funded roads and other physical infrastructure. The only difference is that you personally and clearly and daily benefit from roads but not necessarily from public healthcare...yet.

Once again, what do these idiots think our countries are? My mother's family is from the South of France, my father's from the West and their cultures were different. Still are, in fact. The difference is that now, we expect people to accept cultures coming from further away.

Northern Europe has been living for close to a century under what amounts to socialism for Americans and they are doing pretty well for themselves, thank you very much. Much better, in any case, than the people who revere capitalism without any consideration for its very real evils.
