Men are not a hive mind any more than women are.
I am not putting women down at all but women ARE a hive mind, men are often independent thinkers.

“We are women. Prepare to be assimilated. Resistance is futile.”
…Couldn’t resist. But seriously, f*ck off OP.
While I don’t disagree with the whole “herd mentality” that humans tend to show (trust me, I’ve seen it in action), it’s equal to both men and women.
Brian: Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't need to follow me. You don't need to follow anybody! You've got to think for yourselves! You're all individuals!
Crowd: [in unison] Yes! We're all individuals!
Brian: You're all different!
Crowd: [in unison] Yes, we are all different!
Man in crowd: I'm not...
Crowd: Shhh!

Men are just as predisposed to following orders as women. There is no "hive mind" behind it, though; humans are tribal and hierarchical by nature. The OP is in all the more danger of the trap believing himself to have some special immunity to it.
(EDIT: And are Ann Coulter and Amanda Marcotte, for example, part of two separate hive minds or is at least one of them an "independent thinker"?)
Any situation where two women seem to be at odds with each other or where one woman seemingly does not know something another woman knows is, of course, nothing but a deception devised by the hive mind to keep the cucked manfolk from realising the truth.
Confused?
