So almost everyone believes in climate change, and I have to say I don't because if it was why would I be covered in snow and battling the bitter cold, and I can't even wear my regular winter coat I need my big Frontiersmen coat, and this is snow and cold I have experienced in the 2024-25 winter, 2021-22 winter and far beyond. And even in 2022 my county reached a record low, and we almost cut it this year to and all of America experienced snow even in Mexico, anyway, please tell me why you believe in climate change.

So it’s reaching record cold where he is? That’s the very definition of climate change. It’s not warming everywhere, (although as an average global temperature, it is). It manifests itself as greater esxtremes - hot, cold, wet, dry, windy etc.

EDIT: I just checked Flunkinowski’s userpage on Wikipedia. He’s an anti-intellectual moron who also disbelieves in evolution, claims to be an expert in whatever topic he argues for, argues with bots, and cannot even spell the word “expert” right…

He basically said he doesn’t believe in climate change…because the climate changed! I wonder if he meant to say “global warming” instead, because I’ve heard that old joke a million times: “how can there be global warming, when it’s -10 degrees Farenheit now” or something like that. (which is just about the coldest I’ve ever seen it get where I am, btw)

Considering that some areas in Mexico are in the mountains and pretty high in altitude, I’m guessing that while snow wouldn’t be a common thing there, it wouldn’t be exactly unheard of either, depending on where you are.

The weather USED to have a kind of a wall that kept the freezing bitter arctic cold confined to the arctic. That broke down and the cold is now unrestrained. And you think that DISproves climate change…

It's the middle of May here in Fairfax, Virginia, and the temperature today is 55° Fahrenheit. My plants are all sulking because I can't put them outside just yet.

Yet more of that misunderstanding: “‘Climate change’ means ‘It gets WARMER’!!”

Please, compare the weather in the 1970s to today.

Because the hot gets hotter and cold gets colder and climate change affects precipitation.
