You state that salt water and fresh water mix in a cup instantly... but has this been tested on a grand global scale? I'm not saying that the flood consisted of both fresh water and salty water simultaneously for sure. But even if the flood did have all fresh water, that does not mean these various sea creatures were not able to swim them.
