Obviously there were other races as we read about the first case of Adam's seed being polluted with Cain, a cursed murderer of his brother. Cain was purged from Eden and moved "east of Eden" (which would have been in and among the Mongolian people), to a non-Adamic land filled with non-Adamites. He then produced the first mongrel offspring named Enoch. From the time of Adam and Eve to the time of Noah, race mixing became epidemic, and God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth. This sin of race mixing is so serious that God killed the offenders. However, there was one man and his family that found grace in the eyes of the Lord, who was perfect in his generations; in other words, he was racially pure. The result of all this race mixing was corruption and violence (Genesis 6:11). The narrative establishes a paramount theme that runs throughout the Bible: race mixing is not Christian.

"Cain was purged from Eden and moved "east of Eden" (which would have been in and among the Mongolian people),"
How do you know that? He could have moved so far east he arrived in France. Or do you object to the round earth theory too?
But if all the other races died in the flood then where did the other races we have now come from? And what about the incest that would have been committed by Noah's family afterwards?
Oh I understand now! It's an argument from I'm making shit up that doesn't make sense but you'd better believe it or my sky daddy will be really angry!
So "east of Eden" means China? That's pretty far-fetched. If someone moves to Zurich, they don't say they moved east of Pittsburgh, for crissake. Besides, most apologists go to great lengths to "prove" that Cain was married (probably to a sister) before he left for Nod.
Another fundie choosing his beliefs first, then twisting the Bible to claim God agrees with him.
Not only is everything you just said wrong, but if you don't know where Eden was, how can you say what's east of it?
That's like saying England's east of Mordor and that's why one cannot simply walk into it.
So, if Adam was the first human, where did these Mongolian people come from? I'm confused.
The result of race mixing is beautiful coffee-and-cream colored mulatto and mestizo babies.
Speaker 1: Hey, you got racism in my fundamentalism!
Speaker 2: Hey, you got fundamentalism in my racism!
Cool. So God didn't create all human beings, just some of them, meaning that some other powerful being made the others, right? Which means God isn't omnipotent and doesn't have complete dominion over the universe, since if he did, nothing like that would be able to happen without his approval, right?
So basically you've destroyed your argument AND revealed yourself as a racist. GOOD JOB, ASSWIPE.
From the time of Adam and Eve to the time of Noah, race mixing became epidemic, and God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth. This sin of race mixing is so serious that God killed the offenders.
And yet people of varying skin tones (not different races) still exist and have intermingled for centuries (that's where mestizos come from). Looks like your god is even more inept than the Bible shows him to be.
The narrative establishes a paramount theme that runs throughout the Bible: race mixing is not Christian.
I'll grant you that the culture that wrote the Bible was profoundly racist and xenophobic and as such you could make a case that technically being a racist is Christian, but we've all moved on since then including most Christians and you're one of the few that's still stuck in the past.
"Obviously there were other races as we read about the first case of Adam's seed being polluted with Cain, a cursed murderer of his brother. Cain was purged from Eden and moved "east of Eden""
This guy couldn't even get past the first ten pages of the Bible before ALREADY getting it wrong. Ohh...by the way "Pastor" Downey: Fuck you, you little racsist asshole.......
But all of humanity is *still* descended from Noah, right?
'Cos I'm sure there was something about a global flood with him and his family being the only surviors.
"The narrative establishes a paramount theme that runs throughout the Bible: race mixing is not Christian. "
Nothing from Genesis (or the rest of the Old Testament) is Christian, Sparky.
I'm still wondering why racist fundies haven't tried claiming that whites were descended from Adam and blacks evolved from apes, especially considering this little pile of hate. Then again, maybe they're just that much against evolution as well.
So, what, Adam's line was supposed to breed only with itself? Yeah, you can ask the royal families of France, Spain, England and Russia how well that worked for them.
Die. In. A. Fire.
SRSLY.
My "baby" sister is black, her husband is white, and both are Christian. Quite frankly, "race" is nothing more than another arbitrary human categorization, a distinction between people that only goes skin deep -- who the hell are you to say it's wrong for two people to love one another?
Come to think of it, your Savior's primary message was just that: LOVE ONE ANOTHER. He didn't say shit about race, sexual orientation, nationality, eye color, or food preferences.
Some people who were not descended from Adam, and people who were descended from the only surviving family of the flood, Noah, who was "racially pure," but yet these descendants were not racially pure. Where do these "racial impurities" come from, since every human being is supposedly descended from Adam and from Noah?
Oh, I see. You're just making shit up that's not in the Bible, while at the same time claiming that the Bible provides a basis for your 19th century racial theories.
EABOD.
You just pulled a hell of a lot of stuff out of your arse there you did.
I thought the reason for the flood was tolerance of murder, not race mixing.
Wait, haven't Adam and Eve FALLEN anyway?. And, if they were the first humans, where did the Mongolians come from?. Reinterpreting the Bible.
<sarcasm>
Yes indeed. "No race-mixing" is number 3 in the ten commandments.
Its What Jesus told the Woman caught in Adultery.
I well remember the passage about ".. all their women you may take to yourself, but no race-mixing."
</sarcasm>
Nevertheless, I'm a bit confused and there's some stuff I'd like more information on.
Is it your idea that every murder causes new races to be formed, or was it a prize for coming first?
If Noah and his family were the only non-wicked people on the Earth, and they are the ancestors of all people, then they were race mixed. Is it that God wasn't as smart as you, or he just had an off day?
1. youre an idiot.
2. if cain met these so called "mongolian" peoples East of Eden... married/gained a wife among them... and produced offspring... where the HELL did these people "non-adamites" come from that you speak of since the Bible OBVIOUSLY and PAINSTAKINGLY repeats that first came Adam... then Eve... then they made only TWO CHILDREN - Cain and Abel... so tell me where the non adamites fall in line in this story? Where did they come from? Poofed out of no where?
3. Noah being rightous in the eyes of the Lord did not mean RACIALLY PURE. It says (read it sometime retard dont just let it sit on your shelf and collect cobwebs) that he "walked with the Lord" meaning he STAYED ON THE RIGHTOUS PATH with God in his heart. (CHAPTERS AND VERSES OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN!!!)
4. Also... rightious and perfect? Noah? Did you know he was a drunk? LMFAO XD Passed out naked in his birthday suit in his tent he did! So much for being "perfect" in the eyes of the Lord who says nakedness is sinful... but then turns around beforehand and says nakedness is natural and ok since Adam and Eve were naked and free of sin before their fall...
HOT DAMN I know more than you do on this and IM NOT EVEN CHRISTIAN. WOW.
First of all, according to "God" Adam and Eve should have died the very day they ate the fruit so clearly they were lied to. The Bible also says that Eve is the "Mother of all living" so logically we have to wonder where these Non-Adamites were at that time. Clearly Cain could not have had any children at all then. I'm sure anyone with at least half a brain can see how ridiculous the Bible is right from the start. I won't even get started on how a "perfect" god can create something so imperfect. As a matter of fact, God sets Adam and Eve up to fail by creating the very conditions for it.
The "pastor" obviously did not bother to read the rest of the story. Cain is said to have founded the first city (explanations for how he did this when he was cursed to be a wanderer, and who populated said city are strangely missing from the bible). His descendents founded several crafts. So essentially, the civilization the "pastor" takes for granted was stolen from the line of Cain.
Geez its annoying having to explain religious people's religion to them all the time.
Confused?
