(In response to an article about an Army soldier knowingly infecting a teenager with HIV)
It is a plague from God. I believe that God has allowed AIDS and HIV to consume this country because of Homosexual behavior. Just look around at all of the sexual immoral behavior going on in this country. From the young to the older. God is allowing this plague to take it's course.

Seems this wimpy, pathetic god of yours allows all kinds of bad stuff to "take it's (sic) course." How do you fundies decide which of it is god's punishment for people you don't like, which is god testing the faithful, and which was caused by satan?
For the last time, AIDS is not a homosexual disease!!! Anyone, hetero or homo, can get it if you fuck an infected person or share needles with him/her.
In places like Africa, most HIV victims are entire families. In India and Indochina, they are the female sex workers living in slums or along trade routes. In both cases, many of the victims are children, either offspring of HIV couples or child sex slaves. Hardly any of them, if at all, engage in homosexual sex, yet they are HIV positive.
Stop blaming senselessly and start actually lending a hand to these people who need it most. Or is that an alien concept?
Funny, I always considered fundies to be a plague from God. It's his punishment on us for not growing up and stopping being credulous, immature, fairy-tale believing children.
So if you get HIV [by any means, not accusing you of being homosexual], you will rest in comfort knowing that this is sanctioned by your god and you will do nothing to prevent it to get worse? I like how every random, natural "evil" is the work of god or the devil, "Punishing" mankind, when most plagues and disasters don't affect a specific group.
It's an evolutionary virus that is most commonly trasmitted sexually, owing to the moist and warm areas. Even a newborn male can develop a yeast infection, is that god's punishment on 8-month olds?

Aids is still a virus, and considering how many people who are clear of sexual immorality get it, I strongly doubt God would decide to punish millions of innocents, and let millions of those particularly involved of the things you speak of off free. It would be like sniping with a shotgun.
It would seem that ignorance and apathy to the deaths of over 1,000,000 and the infection of another 35,000,000 is also a plague in this country.
Perhaps god used Ronald Reagan's silence on the subject to allow the plague to take its course?
Also - there are African nations far more consumed with with AIDS and HIV than the US will ever be.
God or us?, if God is enabling it, he can't accuse us of morally wrong for accepting homosexuality. And please, the soldier was HETEROSEXUAL, like all the guys in Africa who extended it. Do the whole research.
