He did, about two thousand years ago. He showed up and performed many miracles. They crucified him. It would be no different today. Those who are so egotistical as to be unable to accept a being superior to themselves would find "logical explanations" for every miracle, while plotting to destroy him. "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." Romans 1:22
