Another clever scheme to seduce children in to occult thinking is Pokemon. It is laced with eastern mysticism. Buddhist Mysticism, Hinduism, meditation rituals, Egyptian Book of the Dead, Book of Tao, the Analects of Confucius, the Gita, the I Ching, and The Tibetan Book of the Dead are some of the teachings that influence the game. It is all wrapped up in cute little characters to teach children Witchcraft and Satanism.

This guy is hilarious. As the argument of "is Japanese stuff" has debunked his delusions, now he mixes up everything that it´s not Christian to sound more reasonable. Do you have any idea of what are the core believes of those sources you mention?, and second and most difficult, do you have any evidence?
Look, we've tried to explain evolution in plain, simple terms literally hundreds of times , and you all still get it wrong and attack all manner of things we've never said.
If Pokemon incorporated all of that non-Christian religious dogma, it does it so subtly that intelligent adults can't pick it all out. What secret code do you think they've hit on, that would allow children to recognize any of it?
I'm convinced. Pokemon is of the devil. It's almost as bad as teaching children a book heavily influenced by Egyptian Aten-worship, Sumerian mythology, Babylonian mysticism, Zoroastrianism, and various Graeco-Roman mystery cults. Oh, wait a minute ....
The whole site is full of paranoid bull like that. Don't get mad at them. these poor uneducated, brainwashed fool don't know any better. Get mad at the ones who actually harm others, like Westboro Baptist.
Thank you, Brain, but I'm not the one who made the pic, I just found it. I knew it would come in handy one day ^^
"Analects of Confucius"
Pokemon teaches the Analects? Who knew? Oh, and unknown, Confucius had basically nothing to say on the subject of gods, goddesses, witchcraft, or whatever. His interest was in a philosophy of good governance. How you get Satanism out of that is beyond me.
I remember this. Yeah, it's a little late now, but when Pokemania was at its peak in the late 90s/early 2000s, shit like this was EVERYWHERE. At least in Fundieland.
In the Great Chronology of Fundie Panics, it was after D&D and Magic : The Gathering, but just before Harry Potter, The Da Vinci Code, and The Golden Compass.
I distinctly remember reading an article in a fundamentalist magazine claiming that the Pokemon Bellsprout, Weepinbell, and Victreebel were named for "the false god Baal." At the bottom of the page, in small print, following an asterisk, was the note "It is also possible that these Pokemon were so named because they are shaped like bells." WHOA! YOU THINK?!?
The fact that that was the LEAST likely of the two explanations just show how fucked up fundies can be. Pokemon was a HUGE threat to the fundie faith back then.

Sounds much more like Shin Megami Tensei or YuGiOh than Pokemon.

Erm, to my knowledge, the only thing I really found 'cute' out of the MegaTen creatures was Jack Frost, but not much else. Yugioh also had it's share of cute critters, but the majority of the beasts in both series are pretty GAR.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
