Um….yeah. Yeah, i can actually see the pitch for ’we’re going to make fun of gullible people.’

The only way it works as a ‘reveal’ would be if only about 5% was real, the rest was made-up shit. The Truth can never hold its own against inspired bullshit, and that would desenstize people to shocking truths if they dismiss it like the National Enquirer headlines…
But then, you get just as much of that by putting out 0% truth, as long as it sounds similar….

Yup, no mistake! Personally I’m thankful a sex pervert mushroom, a traumatized dolphin military dude and a Zia-Zia, I think it was, are keeping us all safe and oblivious to the horrors of the universe!

Also, good show by the way, didn’t want to watch it much at first cause some of the jokes seemed cringey for my taste but when I found out you fuckheads actually got so riled up by it, I simply could not resist. Definitely a recommend.

We should expect from such wide-ranging conspiracies more rationality than from a serial killer.

Usually it's because they're losing the mental strength to keep going, to maintain a mask of sanity while committing murder. Sometimes it means lucidity is breaking through their delusions. If they've killed someone they cared for, it's simply guilt.

…This makes me want to watch Inside Job. And then laugh at and pity conspiracy theorists for being so batshit insane.
