There’s a 1990 movie where Burt Reynolds is having an anxiety attack and his friend asks, ‘Does anyone have a valium?’ And the entire crowd reaches for their pockets or purses.
Everyone knows someone in therapy or is in therapy or is beginning to question if they need therapy…
So, like Left-handed people had a population explosion when the Church stopped beating students for writing left handed, everyone in therapy is far more likely to admit to it.
There are shows where jokes depend on everyone understanding the therapist experience, and even shows that center around a therapist.

No need for any conspiracy, just a society adapting and growing.
