Children are growing up seeing struggles and divorces of their parents as they face financial difficulties. Another reason is men see the very real (over 50% marriages now end in divorce) possibility of having to make communist redistribution of wealth government forced child support payments when they divorce. Who wants to face this in the future? No man does.
Also marriage licenses are unnatural. Marriage is a right, not a license—as breathing air is. If you can believe in marriage licenses, you can also believe in homosexuality. There are other reasons too, for example, single people claim homosexuality in order to get the Federal benefits.

Edit: just went to the original site, and this is in response to a proposed Australian law. It doesn't say what benefits gays might get in Australia, though.

You need to learn the definition of "redistribution of wealth" before you start throwing that term around. Start by wondering why multibillion dollar corporations pay no taxes and you do.
And exactly how is you being forced to support your own kids, or even the wife whom you no doubt demanded leave the work force to raise them communism? Oh, that's right. You don't know what that word means, either.
I'm pretty sure the benefits he's talking about are Australian Civil Union laws which provide pretty much identical civil entitlements as marriage to homosexual couples (in theory at least, in practice since they are state classifications recognized federally it can be bit of a mess).
There's no benefits there that you couldn't gain as a man and a woman by pretending to be married though. And we have a fair number of civil marriages (rather than religious).
So yeah even if it does happen I'd bet money that there are heterosexuals doing the same thing.

And how hard is it to get a marriage license anyway (that is, if you're not a gay couple in the South)? In Las Vegas they have drive-through wedding chapels. And quite a few couples decide that getting a piece of paper and having a ceremony is a waste of time.
