Dear Servant Of Jesus
Turrets can be demonic, I had ministered to an indivdual that had Turrets, and the disorder was carried through the generational line. The father, grandfather, and son had this disorder in the family I was ministering to. One of the spiritual roots we found was that the spiritual authority and order in the house was not there.
Once the order in the family start to change the symptoms began to leave. I also watched the same doccumentary did you notice the fathers of the children and how they dealt with the turrets? Just something to look for when dealing with this syndrome.

You know what Tourettes is exacerbated by?
STRESS.
You know what eliminates stress? ORDER.
It has nothing to do with your god shit or your patriarchy shit, it has to do with a less stressful situation lessening the symptoms.
Go exorcise your skull with bleach!

Tourettes! Thank you. I was wondering what the hell he meant by Turrets.
But ... but that's how I keep area control! If I can't drop turrets, we'd be screwed!
How can I tell if my turret is demonic? Does it do more damage? If so, I may need more demons...
Oh, Turrets aren't so bad; if you got the Pulse Gun from that one Vault with all the ghouls, you can take them out in one hit. Or if your Science skill is high enough, you can hack their controls and use them to your advantage.
*Sigh!* This, and the Assassins Creed line...I think I may need a vacation from my PS3. It's all starting to blur together for me.
Dear BELIEVER-IN-CHRIST,
Go fuck yourself.
The son of a very close friend of mine was diagnosed with Tourettes Syndrome. If the family depended on people like you, the son's life would have been miserable. Instead, they sought out proper treatment and tackled the problem. When the son finished growing, he outgrew the Tourettes which is the norm for the syndrome. He's off the medication and living a life without it. So take you "spiritual deliverance" and shove it up your ass.
It's called Tourette's, and I highly doubt it's caused by demons.

Those things scared the shit out of me. They're still cute tho.
"I had ministered to an indivdual that had Turrets"
Was this individual a Royal Navy gunner using a Mk. 8 Gun:

...or a US Navy operator of their newest weapon:

...a Railgun ?
Either way, the only disorder will be your head: as in you'll no longer have one, once they've finished with you! >:D
Moral: Education. We have it. Do you ?
Alright, the other guy misspelling it I can buy as him just being a dumb asshole who doesn't know words.
This one smacks of "okay get out the template, what was written here last... 'gays'? okay cross that out, what's he say in his post... 'turrets', alright, turrets. okay go". Like he didn't even pay attention to anything past the subject line.
Damnit Axton, we all told you the "turrets syndrome" joke was old.
I just realized that Borderlands is simultaneously more self-aware, more mature, and a more realistic fantasy than the average fundamentalist mentality.
Plus borderlands has guns that shoot swords, which explode into smaller swords which also explode. Why the hell isn't that franchise a major religion yet? I'd join the cult of the vault.
@NotaReptile:
Who's the overarching deity of the Cult of the Vault? Cause I swear to god, if we end up worshipping Claptrap, the things I do to you, even a New-U machine wouldn't be able to fix.
@Old Viking
"Not Tourette's. Tourists. He's talking about tourists. ("Tourists can be demonic.")"
What was Dumbya's problem with people from other countries visiting the US for holidays ?! The DHS are there to stop Terrorists after all! [/Rory Bremner] X3
It's spelled 'Tourettes', and as you've noted there's a significant genetic contribution to its etiology.
The idea that "spiritual roots" are contributory represent nothing other than superstitious ideation.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
