If these results are a part of a larger trend, which they almost certainly are, then any republican president will simply be a sitting duck after that. Though, admittedly, Pence does seem intelligent enough to find a way to rule effectively, especially if democrats remain as disorganised as they are. But, if Trump is, somehow, still the President by then? No fucking way. He can't even get what he wants when his party controls the Congress. He would probably resign in frustration by then.

Also, I'm not dead or flooded out. Was finally able to return to work today. Hell, was finally able to get out of my area today. We were lucky. We only lost power a few times. Others weren't. Most of my friends workplaces are flooded or isolated, so they're waiting to see if they still have jobs. My grandma's apartments were flooded, and she's staying with us in the interim. Another family of friends were flooded out of the townhouse they just moved into, and are also staying with us. My roommate's grandmother (also living with us) has been cut off from her nursing service for a week. My brother's area didn't flood, but there was a chemical leak that was quickly cleaned up. Was cut off from my gf til last night.
In short, this was one hell of a disaster, I got lucky, and fuck Joel Olsteen.
