"They are taking faith and crushing it. Why? Why? When you marginalize faith in America, when you remove the pillar of God-given rights, then what’s left is the French Revolution. What’s left is the government that gives you right, what’s left are no unalienable rights, what’s left is a government that will tell you who you are, what you’ll do and when you’ll do it. What’s left in France became the guillotine. Ladies and gentlemen, we’re a long way from that, but if we do and follow the path of President Obama and his overt hostility to faith in America, then we are headed down that road."
Ahem:
Pledge of Allegiance:
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands; one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all."

In all the above, when you see it - or don't - you'll shit bricks (P)Rick Rantsorbum.
...oh, and Obama being hostile to 'faith'...?:
'I do not find in orthodox Christianity one redeeming feature'
'There is more need for lighthouses in our country than churches.'
'But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.'
'Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear'
'Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man'
'I have examined all the known superstitions of the world, and I do not find in our particular superstition of Christianity one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology.'
-Thomas Jefferson
Weren't the Puritans thrown out of my country - Britain - because of their hostility to anyone who didn't want their brand of 'faith', (P)Rick...? Said Puritans certainly would have burned you at the stake, for being a Heretic - a Catholic. Oh, teh irony.
'The Puritans didn't leave England to escape persecution, but to find a country in which they could freely persecute others'
-Gore Vidal
Your argument - and your 'faith' - is invalid.
Oh, and this is an absolute beaut in terms of ignorance, doublethink & & hypocrisy:
"then what’s left is the French Revolution."
Funny then, that said French - post-Revolution - you relied upon in your War of Independence, to prevent the British in keeping your fledgling country as a colony of Britain, under the King's rule. Y'know, (P)Ricky-boy, as in monarch. What that very French 'Revolution' you apparently loathe & detest sought (successfully) to eliminate, to create a Republic; y'know, (P)Ricky-boy, what your country wanted to be in the 18th Century, and ultimately succeeded in becoming, with the help of said post-Revolution French.
Funny, that. And not in a 'Funny-ha-ha' way, neither.
History education. We Brits has it. Do you, (P)Rick?
