My children, you must accept in faith. Scientists of your world and your psychologists and psychiatrists rationalize everything, until sin is accepted as a way of life--scientists who are ever searching but never coming to the truth! The supernatural cannot be rejected, because if you reject the supernatural, you do not have the armor to fight it. It is a crafty plan of satan to make himself unknown, so that he may go among you, and destroying like a ravenous wolf.

In other words, don't try to think.
Considering the contempt you guys hold for logic, rationality, and human intelligence, I'd suppose that Cro-Magnon Man was more intelligent than you. So are dolphins.

Accept that God is real so I can fight him? Oooooookay ...
Believe in magic, in other words, right?
I bet you don't echo those sentiments when one of your kids gets sick.
My inferior peasants, you must submit in idiocy. Scientists of your world and your psychologists and psychiatrists rationalize everything, until truth is accepted as a way of life--scientists who have found the truth but never come to SkyGuy! My superiority cannot be rejected, because if you reject me, I will kill you. It is a crafty plan of Sanity to make itself understood, so that you may think like a normal human being.
Now that's more like it!

But then how come demons never attack atheists? They always pick on the fundies, EVERY time. Flying demons, grunting demons, demons playing saxophones, demons that are angel-human or fish-human hybrids, everywhere you guys are attacked by demons. It seems that satan leaves you alone if you don't go believing in demons.

Fundies just want to assume goddidit and give up looking. But to a scientist, disproving the supernatural means disproving a negative. To do that means exhausting all the natural alternatives. The scientific approach has always proved right, in our experience. Lightning wasn't God's judgment; it was static electricity easily defeated by a copper rod on the roof. The Plague wasn't God's judgment; it was a microbe easily defeated by streptomycin. In example after example, goddidit has proved wrong and natural explanations were found. To give up looking is stupid.

Sound's like you're describing god, to me.
Supernaturally, Roses, you must send me all your money immediately. If you try to rationalise your way out of it you will make sin a way of life. Wanting to keep your money is a crafty ploy of Satan. You must accept in faith!
The strongest defence against all the supernatural entities you care to mention is the knowledge that they don't exist, in much the same way that the best defence against the monsters under your bed is to take a look under there and know that there is no reason to believe that the monsters ever existed.
My children
Unless you were screaming at your husband that he was going to pay for all the pain you were going through because I was getting squeezed out of your vagina, you don't get to call me your child.
you must accept in faith.
Belief for the sake of believing based on nothing but belief or faith is an empty persuit. I prefer to make conclusions based on real-world evidence.
The rest of your argument doesn't work unless you assume the supernatural exists before you have any evidence for it. These baseless assumptions do not impress me.
