The Trump EO on gender was written by an IWF lawyer
Megyn Kelly reported the EO was written by an IWF lawyer name May Mailman(sp?). That's why all the right words were used and it's airtight.

Respectfully, I got to admit I am a little annoyed here with the conversation. Does it really matter that much if the woman who wrote this is part of a prolife group? I see a lot of yall getting hung up on that aspect.
It was still an airtight, and fantastically written executive order which is hugely beneficial to us as women. It doesn’t mean we are going to go out and support pro life causes.
It doesn’t change the fact that when women and girls push back on men entering female designated spaces, they now have a powerful executive order to use to help them moving forward.
Please don’t forget that we are supposed to be trying to fight against the menace of male oppression. We can still use tools even if they aren’t coming from the best source. If it’s a good tool, it’s a good tool.
I worry that by getting hung up on the fact that the author is prolife, and part of a controversial group who doesn’t care for women, it could result in this huge win being totally disregarded.

Everyone has to consider the possibility that it might be easier to get the Republicans to become reasonable on abortion than it will be to get the Democrats to become reasonable on "gender."
When someone reaches their hand out to help you, don't swat it away. It doesn't mean you have to agree with them on everything.
Republicans and Democrats just want to win elections. They don't have a single moral fiber between them. Tents and coalitions change over time. Always have, always will.
Save the purity tests for the woke brigade.

IWF is an anti-abortion group, so that explains the "at conception" wording.

The "at conception" wording could be a way of negating how TRA's use weasel language like "assigned at birth". Also, we can accurately sex a fetus before its born, which might also be part of the rationale for that wording.
