The bizarre story of American Airlines Flight 618 just took another turn.

After revealing that he was the mystery passenger attacked during the now-viral flight, Jonathan Cahn is going deeper into what he believes was happening behind the scenes, and the details he has uncovered are difficult to ignore.

Cahn says the violent confrontation aboard the flight was not merely a strange midair incident. He believes it carried the fingerprints of spiritual warfare, particularly because of a series of eerie parallels between what happened to him and events he had already written into The Altar of Pergamon.

“What happened was demonic,” Cahn said.

He explained that the characters in The Altar of Pergamon travel around the world, uncovering spiritual mysteries. Along the way, they encounter people who initially appear friendly, only for those encounters to suddenly turn dark and threatening.

That bears an uncanny resemblance to what Cahn says happened aboard Flight 618.

According to Cahn, his interaction with the man began as a normal, friendly conversation. Then something shifted. The conversation turned dark, the man’s behavior became hostile, and eventually the encounter erupted into violence.

“What happened on the plane is a replaying of what I wrote in the book,” Cahn said.

He pointed out that the characters in The Altar of Pergamon similarly attempt to safeguard laptops containing information connected to the mystery they are uncovering. On the plane, Cahn says the tensions hit an enormous peak as the man sitting next to him lunged after the computer, which acted as another detail that eerily echoes the story he had already written.

The incident gave Cahn a platform to speak about God and spiritual warfare through mainstream media attention he otherwise might never have received. What appeared designed to silence the message, he argues, instead magnified it.

“In the end,” Cahn said, “the light will always overcome the darkness and the good will always overcome the evil.”
