Our society as a whole doesn’t accept interacting sexually with the same sex or propagating our offspring through polygamy, adultery or incest. When we elect a leader who cannot control his own conduct and promotes a degenerate standard (as in the last administration), we cannot continue this contradictory principle or incorporate such a diverse behavior into our schools.
It’s imperative that faculty be able to control all curriculum, extracurricular or open forums in our schools to ensure the rights of the majority, not a minority.

Btw, the majority is often already ensured of its rights, it's the minority that needs assistance to acquire said rights.
In what way do you think that Obama does not control his own conduct? Did Dubbya control his conduct better? Which standard is more degenerate; to give favors to your father's rich buddies who bought you the election, or to make sure that everyone have equal rights and responsibilities? Which principle is more contradictory; that we are all created equal, or that some are more equal than others?

No, it is imperative that we ensure that the rights of minorities can't be trampled by the majority. It is also imperative that you understand that you do not have the right to suppress a group of people because you feel that their mere existence oppresses you.
It would also help if you understood that, despite what you love to tell yourselves, homophobic bigots no longer make up a majority in the developed world, or even in the US. Your lot loves to shriek about a depraved minority with a twisted agenda and a disproportionate and immerited influence: how about you finally realise that you are the ones who best fit that description?
Depending upon how one divides the cake, YOU are in minority groups too. For instance, christians are a majority in this country, but Baptist aren't. Therefore, according to your rules, when it comes to religion, if their beliefs make other Christians cranky, Baptists should have no rights. Do you still want to sell out every right of minorities?

Faculty controlling curriculum is not such a bad idea if it gets us away from the kinds of insanity prevailing in states like Texas where, thanks to fundie school boards, creationism is taught as fact.

The biggest kick in the face for you however is that the majority of voters in our country are no longer opposed to same sex marriage.
