Perhaps it’s because I live in Sweden, where 6’ tall men are more or less the norm; nothing special. I see men of all sizes and shapes in relationships with women (also of all sizes and shapes). It’s almost as if it’s the individuality that counts, not the size or shape.
My husband is 6’4 and sure, he’s fairly easily discernible in a crowd, but he’s not the tallest, by far. His brother is 6’6, so he’s not even the tallest in his family, and my sister-in-law’s brother–in-law is 6’8.
