I doubt he used the word "rape", as there is no concept of rape in Islam. There is only haram and halal sex, which is in reference to the owner of a woman, not the consent of a woman.

Otherwise he is right, rape is allowed in Islam, see this hadith where Mo himself allows it:

Muslim, Book 008, Number 3371:

Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa'id al Khadri (Allah he pleased with him): 0 Abu Sa'id, did you hear Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) mentioning al-'azl? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi'l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing 'azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid-conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah's Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah's Mes- senger (may peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born.

Abu Said al-Khudri said: "The apostle of Allah sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives. Some of the Companions of the apostle of Allah were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Quranic verse, "And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hands possess". That is to say, they are lawful for them when they complete their waiting period." [The Quran verse is 4:24].

In other words, just as legal possession of a fish that has been fished out of the water, makes it Halaal for human consumption without the initiation of a formal slaughtering process; similarly legal possession of a slave woman made her Halaal for the purpose of coition with her owner without the initiation of a formal marriage ceremony.

Islam's 'fear' of sex only constitutes other men having sex with their property (their wives / daughters / sisters).

WIthin Islamic marriages there is no such thing as 'rape', according to Muhamed. Muslim men can have up to 4 wives, can marry and have sex with 9 year olds (and yes, this still happens to this day) and captives / pows / slave / servant girls are also permissible. Add to that that a good Muslim man will get tens of virgin girls (and handsome boys) when they get to heaven...

Iran is known for legalizing prostitution by allowing one-hour-long marriages...Iran is known for allowing old men to marry little girls. Iranian prisons are notorious for the rape of men and women.

Check out some of Khomeinis fatwahs on having sex with toddlers, donkeys etc. and tell me again the Iranian Mullahs are 'afraid' of sex.

On August 11, 2009, Mesbh-Yazdi and Mahmood Ahmadinejad had a gathering by the Jamkaran site. They answered questions posed by their supporters. The following questions and answers were exchanged between Mesbah-Yazdi and some of his supports regarding the recent charges of rape and torture done to those arrested in the post-election unrest:

Q: Is obtaining confession by applying emotional and physical pressure valid?
A: Getting confession from any person who is against the Velayet-e-faghih (supreme leader) is valid under any condition.

Q: Is obtaining confession valid by drugging the prisoner with addictive substances, opiates, and other drugs?
A: Getting confession from any person who is against the Velayet-e-faghih (supreme leader) is valid under any condition.

Q: Can rape be used as a means of obtaining confession?
A.The necessary caution is for the interrogator to perform the Vozoo (the act of cleansing mandated by Islam before praying) first and say prayers while raping the prisoner. It is ok to rape through vagina or anus. It is better not to have a witness present. If it is a male prisoner, then its ok for someone else to watch while the rape is taking place.

Q: What if the female prisoner gets pregnant? Is the child considered illegitimate?
A: The child of any woman against the supreme leader is considered illegitimate with rape or through a legal marriage. However, if the child is raised by the jailer, then the child is considered a legitimate Shiia Muslim.

Q: Is rape of men and young boys considered sodomy?
A: No, because it is not consensual. Of course, if the prisoner is aroused, then caution must be taken not to repeat the rape.

Q: What is the reward for raping a virgin female prisoner?
A: If the prisoners punishment is execution, then the rape before execution brings the interrogator a spiritual reward equivalent to making the Haaj pilgrimage but if there is no execution planned then the reward would be as much as making a pilgrimage to Karbala.

I am not being snarky here, just genuinely curious...why does everyone here immediately discredit everything Israelis say, and then say things like "Islam forbids anal sex" as if everyone in Iran actually lives by the Islamic religion to the letter? I'm no Zionist and I really think the world gives Israel way too much attention and it's gotten into the habit of acting up because social development-wise, the nation is like a 5-year-old who thinks he's way more important than he is. But why act like Iran ISN'T socially backwards and they're all just good little Muslims who follow the Koran and would never do anything wrong? Call me crazy but as an American female, I'd much rather take my chances in an Israeli prison than an Iranian one. People totally ignore their religious teachings when it suits them, just look at the good old USA. Just sayin'.

As #1018079 pointed out, Marjane Satrapi mentioned guards "marrying" and raping virgin female prisoners before their execution in her autobiography "Persepolis" (not sure if it was in the 1st or 2nd volume, but I think it was the first). It's possible that it's still propaganda, but if so, it's propaganda that Muslim Iranians themselves believe and spread (as Satrapi very clearly demonstrates, many devout Muslim Iranians are do NOT like or support the theocratic fascists who have essentially invaded their country from within).

But like I said, THIS bit of new information could very well be propaganda, and needs to be externally verified from a less biased source before we accept its veracity.
