This isn’t anything new. It wasn’t new when the Goths took refuge from the Huns in the Eastern Roman Empire, and within forty years had killed the emperor and sacked Rome. It wasn’t even new when the Israelites escaped Egypt and entered the land of Canaan

There are always those who invite the invaders and welcome the refugees and do their best to suppress the national reaction. Those who start the conflagrations are responsible for the inevitable violence, not those who put them out. It’s just irritating that everyone pretends to take their idiotic arguments seriously when almost everyone knows better
