Also, Dungeons and Dragons -huge red flag. I realize that D&D can in theory be an innocent game, but there is an undeniable connection[to being Trans]. Oh, and if your child gets the blue IKEA shark - HUGE red flag.

“Also, Dungeons and Dragons -huge red flag.”
Ten years ago we revamped Strat Weapons Training. The enlisted got together with us and listed everything an MT needed to know. Broad topics like missile testing, missile entry, security rules…
The officers got together with us and drilled down to every single fact that got them in trouble early in their career. ONE warning of ONE procedure, ONE tool’s setting for one adjustment, ONE requirement of a failure log entry… Just a big list of ‘this affected me, so everyone should know it.’
D&D is far too popular to be a red flag for transgendered. Thats just something your kid was into for a while.

I deny it. Been playing it since 1981, still identify IAW my birth certificate. So does everyone else i gamed with. And my kids. And their college roommates…

Those choosing Lumine in “Genshin Impact”, Stelle in “Honkai Star Rail”, and Belle in “Zenless Zone Zero”. Before then, those choosing a female avatar in “VR Chat”. And not forgetting the likes of Porcelain Maid/Jowol in the VTubing scene. Those who chose a certain character’s gender in “D&D”.
Those straight men who do so are secure in their masculinity to choose to play a character who is of the other gender: and so many others don’t have a problem with that, so what’s your excuse OP…?!

Guilty as charged. I’m straight, cis, and not ashamed to play as female or gay characters in RPGs for a wide variety of reasons.
I’ve barely ever actually played D&D, despite being totally into some franchises basically based on that, and playing RPG games and such….the one time me and a few of my friends tried to start a D&D game, it didn’t last much beyond us deciding what our characters were gonna be. I was gonna be a paladin, and my (definitely cis male) friend was gonna be a sexy female rogue. I thought we could have done some interesting things with that storyline, like maybe we had some unresolved sexual tension, lol.

I don’t really play tabletop games either. I was mostly referring to various RPG video games.
As for why, either because I think the story and romances works better with a female MC, I like the VA options for female MCs more, or I just want to abuse the character creator a bit and make a very sexy warrior woman…

Yeah, I actually used to be all into a few different “indie RPG hentai games” if that’s the right term for them, lol. Where the protagonist is a guy, and has a harem, and some of the “harem girls” are party members. Even aside from the harem stuff, I thought it was kinda cool to be a guy fighting alongside sexy warriors and magic-users and such, lol.

I dunno, Rin Penrose (an indie British VTuber) has something like a dozen Blåhaj and is doing pretty well for her/him/themself*, as are numerous other people under the LGBTQ+ umbrella... so I think the problem here is you and your fellow PITTdwellers.
(*Rin is an aromantic asexual {aroace} who's referred to themselves with various pronouns over their VTubing career, to the point of saying "my pronouns are whatever is funniest for the bit". Seriously, I highly recommend giving Rin a watch.)
Confused?
