Exactly! And when the reviews finally came in, I've been seeing the same thing all over social media: (mockingly) "Oh, Coyote vs. Acme got a perfect hundred percent on Rotten Tomatoes!" "Oh, David Zaslav's having a fit right now!" "Oh, animation is cinema!" Okay, you wanted the film released, you're happy that it got good reviews, and you hate David Zaslav! WE GET IT!!

Oh, I'm making a "big deal?!" At least I wouldn't blindly harass anyone to get what I want, unlike what those cartoonaboos did!

Paramount only redesigned "Ugly Sonic" because after the backlash they faced, they agreed that "Ugly Sonic" was... well... ugly! But Coyote's case is different! I'll admit, I didn't make too much of a fuss when they did release it. But the fact it's getting released and getting this many good reviews is only implying that if you do whine and scream, you'll literally get whatever you want, and that's not a good thing!

Away from this place, so that I won't have to watch a movie that was only released through a HARASSMENT CAMPAIGN!!! (Storms out of the theater, slamming the door behind him)

I'm sure I'm gonna lose a lot of followers and friends for this, but confession time: I did not support Coyote vs. Acme all the way. And the sole reason for that is none other than the toxicity of the animation community.

I can't truthfully say I was that bothered when the film was picked up by Ketchup Entertainment when it was nearly shelved, mostly because I felt like it'd be a critical flop, or at least not be that much of a critical success. But then the reviews came in, and with it nearly getting a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, that when animation stans really reared in their ugly heads and threw all the "David Zaslav is gonna have a tantrum" and shit like that. (And no, I'm not a "Zaslav-simpin' sumbitch" like Damek said, but I knew better than to harass people like him, skeptical as they may be.) I also went on a bit of a "tirade" expressing my frustration over it, and it all led to this submission right here. (And I swear to God, if it ends up getting an Oscar or Annie for Best Animated Feature, or even sweeps the Annies, I'm gonna fuckin' lose it.)

Bottom line: You can enjoy Coyote vs. Acme all you'd like, but there's no need to partake in the animation equivalent of left-wing groupthink over it.
