"Brown" people the world over, blacks and Hispanics, constantly tell of how bad it is in their homeland - high unemployment, crime, bad schools, little or no government services, corruption, lack of opportunity, and a bleak future. Puerto Rico, Mexico, African nations, Central American nations all seem to suffer from these problems.
The common denominator is that all of these countries are inhabited by, and governed by, themselves. Mexican people complain about what it's like living in a country full of Mexican people and run by Mexican people. African people risk their lives to get away from African people. Last year, we were told that Hondurans try to escape from Honduras because it is full of Hondurans, and run by Hondurans.
When are we going to acknowledge that these people, when free from colonial rule and left to their own devices, inevitably wind up creating a country that no one wants to live in? They come to America and Europe because deep down inside they know that they are incapable of nation-building, and emigrating to countries that are run by white people is their best chance for liberty and education and prosperity.
