Should include reverse rape. It’s a serious problem that’s just as bad and just as, if not more, common than what people usually refer to as rape, and it is a form of rape.
Let me educate you all here a second, because unfortunately, reverse rape is often overlooked and ignored.
Reverse rape is when someone refuses to date someone else because of their appearance, weight, race, because they’re trans, or for whatever other biased reason they might have. It’s denying love and affection to someone who they would otherwise choose to date in an instant, but because of transphobia, fatphobia, racism, or other issues of oppression, they engage in reverse rape. It can be VERY harmful and cause lasting emotional trauma and insecurity, much like the typical meaning of the word rape.
Victims of reverse rape are still rape victims. It’s a serious matter and it makes me so depressed to see how it’s always overlooked and victims of reverse rape aren’t taken seriously.

"Reverse rape is when someone refuses to date someone else"
Wow. That's full-on stupid. Rape is assault, not letting someone decide if they're going to sex with a person.
Letting someone decide whether to sex (you), is not reverse rape. It's, like, what's supposed to happen.
Calling it reverse rape is along the lines of PETA trying to make seafood unpopular through calling fish 'sea kittens.' Useless and just funny looking...
"Victims of reverse rape are still rape victims."
You're not a victim. You're just a drama queen.
So because this person didn't stab me in the gut, I am going to accuse them of reverse assault with a deadly weapon. And reverse murder, because I am still alive.
Now, I have seen "reverse rape" describe female on male rape, but how about we just agree to be charged with a crime you actually have to DO something.
but how about we just agree to be charged with a crime you actually have to DO something.
[activist]But how are we going to eliminate all the structural inequalities without making it a crime to not help tear down all the ___ist institutions? Not making a choice is a choice, specifically it's a choice to reinforce the status quo.[/activist]
[sincere]People have lives outside of politics, and I'm sure the above activist would agree that people have lives outside of advancing their group's political station if you got them in the right mindset.[/sincere]
So doing nothing at all to you is worse than a woman being the subject of violent (and sometimes fatal) rape?
My vocabulary, though moderately large, is insufficiently vulgar for me to reply appropriately to you. Suffice it to say that I would prefer to be eaten by a rabid wolverine than be forced to provide "love and affection" to you, and I understand that even your mother has changed the locks.
Ugh. I've heard about this thing before, maniacal trans activists claiming that they're oppressed by the "cotton ceiling," which is people not wanting to date them or have sex with them because they're trans, i.e. fuck me or you're a HORRIBLE BIGOT who deserves to be HARASSED INTO AN EARLY GRAVE.
Why can't this "fictionkin" sped just replace the entire post with "no means yes, yes means anal" because we all know they're thinking it.
@ Hazelnut
I saw a clip of a march where a bunch of assholes were chanting "no means yes, yes means anal" and I swear I would give up several parts of my body including the really fun ones if I could go back in time and arrange a humongous flash mob of leather daddies to pull up in front of them and ask if they were looking for a good time.
Thank you to whoever submitted this and to the admin who posted it. This has been a thing in the so called "trans* community" for a while and nobody ever calls them out on it.
I'm sure there will be people here defending this bullshit so let me ask you this.......how are these people ANY different from incels?

People who demand unconditional sex and submission because they think the world owes them something and latch on to anything they can think of as an excuse to accuse others of denying them something they deserve? No notable difference apart from the lack of Chad every sentence.
People who want nothing more than to be seen as a man or a woman as fits the skin that finally feels right to them and hate being labeled as "pretending" to be a different gender like their bodies are a cheap costume and their minds are silly childish things that need correction? Plenty. They don't like that potential partners can't see past who they used to be and can be vocal in not wanting that to be as much of an obstacle as it is but if they seriously think people don't have a right to refuse them then they are the above category.
Thankfully I see much more of the latter than the former, just as I see more people who struggle with relationships with reserved complaint without becoming world-hating incels whoring for attention at all times.
I can practically hear you spitting the word trans through the text as you've stressed it and sticking "so-called" in front is about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the face. You would have us believe they represent the entire community as incels believe they represent men as a whole? Get over yourself.

@HS : "Trans*" used to be an umbrella term for "anyone on the transgender spectrum" which, in addition to transmen and transwomen, included most non-binary gender orientations. However, I haven't seen the terms "trans*" or "transgender spectrum" being used for years, so they're out of date. Also they weren't that well known even when they were in use, and probably the wrong way of going about the subject anyway.
I don't think there are enough "Fuck You"s in the cosmos to begin to address this.
How fucking dare you compare "I didn't get a date" and "I didn't get laid" to rape, you shitbag! One of these is a traumatic experience that can take months to years of therapy to recover from. The other is a mild bummer. If you are so deeply affected by the fact that someone you were interested in turned you down, you are an entitled fuckwit, and they're better off for having passed on you.
There's a cult on reddit you might want to join. You'll fit in just fine. And the flavor-ade they will eventually serve is to die for.
@Passerby
You made my morning. Many thanks

Despite being kind of a cranky old man before my time I quite enjoy knowing I've spread a smile and a laugh somewhere. So thank you as well.
And if anyone can masquerade as a RoK MRA MGTOW etc and actually convince them to go on a march with signs and preferably shirts with that slogan printed on them it can totally still happen. Time it with a feminist march that would get media coverage and pitch it as a counter-protest, then let the slow dawning horror on their faces be immortalized forever in the news when they try to backpedal their way out of that shit... if they don't turn around and run in terror that is.

Tumblrcel.
I was nodding when I started reading this post because I thought by "reverse rape" they meant men being raped by women (which IS an important and underrepresented issue). When I got to the part where they give their definition of reverse rape, I stopped nodding. Real fucking fast.
Ladies and gentlemen, I think we found an SJWcel. This is the dawn of a new era.
Edit: I'm really curious how Moose will react to this being put out by an MLP blog.
Confused?
