[In July, Kathryn B. H. Clancy and her co-authors Robin G. Nelson, Julienne N. Rutherford and Katie Hinde published a survey of 666 field-based scientists in the journal PLoS One and reported that 26 percent of the female scientists surveyed had been sexually assaulted during fieldwork.]
Of course, the push to encourage women in science is only going to cause more such sexual assaults to take place, which is one more reason why it is a bad idea. Science doesn't need more women, especially if more women in the field are going to help transform otherwise good male scientists into rapists and sex criminals.

> And we don't just kick out the rapists and sex pests and keep the women scientists because..?
Because if you did that, Vox Day's worldview wouldn't be validated! That's why!
I'm sure it isn't necessary for me to point out to you who were the perpetrators of those assaults. Hint: it isn't the women. And rapists and sex criminals are NOT "otherwise good" males, scientists or not, so I hope you don't really expect that to work as an excuse at your trial.
Oh, go back to writing your pathetic e-books that'll never win a Hugo Award, VD.

Gen. Chuck Yeager (USAF, Ret.) encourages women to enter the field of Aeronautics. If he was far more concerned with testing new aircraft that helped in the defence, nay, advancement of your country militarily & scientifically than thinking about test pilot Jaqueline Cochran other than how her experiences with prototype planes will do the same - mainly because he was already married - then what's your excuse for thinking the way you do?
Seems he has more than The Right Stuff, Theo.
If those scientists are willing to engage in rape and sexual assault, then they aren't really "good," are they?
Yeah, I know the definition you're using.
If men turn into blithering idiots, rapists and sex criminal, in the presence of a woman; why are they in charge of, well, anything, agan?
A hint, VD; most men do NOT turn into rapists and sex criminals in the presence of a woman. It's just that rapists and sex criminals reveal their true colors in the presence of a woman. They were never good male scientists, but always males lacking impulse control and common decency.
Dr. Jekyll... Paging Dr. Jekyll....
"She turned me into a rapist! ... I got better... Well, maybe I did, I mean how could one tell?"
"Otherwise good?"
"He has a slight tendency to assault people, but only women! Otherwise, he's a real pal!"
And finally, to paraphrase Archie Bunker, "Would it make you feel any better. Vox Day, if they only sexually assaulted non-scientists?"
Shit. For. Brains.
" women in the field are going to help transform otherwise good male scientists into rapists and sex criminals."
Really, how are they going to get the funding ?
>Darkevilme:
Judging by this quote , Vox Demens thinks that all scientists are hopeless super-dorks. Fortunately, they are oblivious to their loneliness and sexual frustration... until a woman enters the lab, at which point they turn into incels.
"the push to encourage women in science"
Hedy Lamarr.
It's a bit of an exaggeration to say this, but she basically invented WiFi.

@KingOfRhye
You predicted what I was about to post in this thread; then I had a quick look through the posts...!
Can you give me next week's lottery numbers?! X3
Great minds think alike, though...!
That's it, blame the victim. If working alongside a woman turns them into rapists, then they shouldn't be working. They should be in prison or monasteries. Or getting the treatment that they so obviously need.
If men are so susceptible and weak willed, maybe they shouldn't be allowed around potential victims? Just a thought. But to somebody who's admitted to being a rapist logic and empathy are alien concepts, aren't they? Vox: Women are succeeding where you failed. You should really just let it go. If nothing else stewing on it will likely get you arrested someday.
I notice nobody mentioned Sara Josephine Baker, who became a doctor at a time when female doctors were virtually unheard of and revolutionized pediatrics, turning one of the highest infant mortality rates in the country into one of the lowest. How many alt-right goons owe their very existence to Dr. Baker's treatments saving the lives of their ancestors?
And on top of that, she worked alongside Joseph Lister to apprehend Typhoid Mary, and at no point did he try to sexually assault her. Even back then, men were capable of controlling themselves around women. What's your excuse, Veedy?
I love Alt-right retards that don't see how they are no different from the Muslims they hate so much.
You know the same ones that want women to wear burkas because according to them men are too weak and will just rape any attractive woman they see.
@Old Viking
"Maybe the women should wear disguises, like those fake eyebrows/nose/eyeglasses thingies."
Groucho glasses? What are you, some kind of Marxist?
Confused?
