Well, you used the plural of Democrat but not of Republican. To be consistent you should use both words the same way, either with the plural or without. In which case, you either have “cans” and “rats,” or “I can” and “crat.”

Also of note is that it’s the Democratic party, not the Democrat Party. So it’s ican against atic.

Though the last person to say yes we can was rather unpopular with the GOP. Oh my, that’s right. There’s another way to refer to the Republican party, so that makes it GOP versus atic or crat or rats or “policy and direct effect on our lives are the absolute last thing I consider when voting.”
