When I had my first vaccination in early April 2021, the NHS already had me in their database: certainly for the appointment for that which I promptly appeared there for: 2PM. When called for my second vaccination in June of that year, they referred to such to ensure it was my second. Thus when I discovered the drop-in centre at Princes Quay shopping mall two days before Xmas 2021, I could have a booster there & then: even before (if I’d known about such), and they checked the NHS database to know about the previous two vaccinations thus confirmed I could have a booster. Then mid-December last year I had a text via the NHS to let me know that I could have a second booster: if I so consented to such. And at certain pharmacies. There was one nearby that I could go to, so I certainly consented to going there for said second booster. My info in that NHS database came to the fore for the person who did the deed which I consented to.
My data made available to others outside the National Health Service: including pharmacies? Excellent.
