By the way that Anne Coulter quote "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity" was made two days after 9/11.
I live in NY and saw the smoke and devastation from my school. On September 13th 2001 I was ANGRY and would have agreed with her completely.
I think most of you would have agreed with her too.
Two days after 9/11, I heard people saying the same thing. That scared me just as much as the attacks themselves. To think that the country I live in, the people I thought I knew, could become just as radicalized so quickly and easily. It still scares me, even after most of them came to their senses. It could happen again.
Because we all know Christianity is not a religion of peace and mental stability, any more than Islam is. Either group converting the other would make no difference at all.
And about Ann Coulter? Please. She and other "pro-life" fundies proudly admit they would have no problems aborting a fetus if they thought it would grow up to be homosexual. It wouldn't be difficult for them. It wouldn't be considered tragic at all. They can look at that same fetus and see nothing more than an inhuman disease to be eradicated from society.
Mindless fundies like that don't care about women. They don't care about the "unborn" (damn, that term still sounds creepy). They're only about imposing their own moral values on others. Whether it be for shooting abortionists or those of other faiths or atheists or gays or 3,000 random innocent people in demolished skyscrapers. No difference at all.
