My Little Pony animator sentenced to prison for possessing more than 60,000 pedophile images & sharing them online.
Tries to blame it on "stress."
Anyone over 18 years of age & are infatuated with cartoons should be considered pedo suspects.

I'd say most animators of children's stories are over 18 years of age...
Should they all, along with the authors, the directors and producers, actors and actresses be considered pedo suspects?
You'd probably have to start inventing stories for your own kids, "Ghost", if you have any, as no-one would want to be associated in any way, shape or form with entertainment for children, if your stupid idea came to fruition.

Frankly, Cohen's Tapes are the least of your problems, OP.
If the one you voted for is a paedo nonce, what does that make the likes of you ? I'll tell you what: Toast .
Shateau Fartiste is a nonce. Richard Spencer loves him some CP too.
The glazing bills for your place of residence - a Greenhouse: where you also keep your large collection of stones which you have an obsessive need to throw about - must be atrocious !
Making IMAX obsolete much...?!
Wow, non-sequitors are really your thing, aren't they? As someone who appreciates quite a few cartoons for the more mature themes many of them include and the more surreal and experimental nature of many of them when compared to "adult" entertainment, I feel personally offended being called a pedophile because of the thousands of animators that exist, one has been found out to be one. If that was somehow a logical conclusion I would have to call myself a pedophile for simply:
- being a christian (since quite a few priests have been found out to be such)
- being a man (self-explanatory)
- being a scientist (I'm sure there have been a few pedophilic scientists)
etc. etc. Obviously, that would be absurd. As is your whole "argument" ("shrill shrieks" might be the better description of what you are doing).
I'd be surprised if there weren't pedophile animators. The comedians, programmers, ditch diggers, politicians, priests, and service workers all have the occasional arrest because one of them messes with a kid. Why would animation be any better?
And why is Ghost implying that this one situation is proof that the whole thing is a cesspool?
Well let's be fair here, if you're an adult and you WATCH (NOT animate, that's a lucrative job) little kid shows on a regular basis that indicates a level of immaturity.
You're watching something that's probably far below your cognitive level. (At least I hope most bronies aren't genuinely retarded.)
We can take an even more extreme example: Duck TV - EXPLICITLY targeted towards babies and very young kids, even older kids should OUTGROW this
"Stories, produced under the supervision of child psychologists, meet all requirements of babies after 3 months of age. Big eyes, slow or quick moves completed with music help children to develop their cognitive capabilities. Popular characters teach babies to know numbers. Little fox friend helps to understand groups. Recognizing colours is easy with Colour magic series. In a fun way your baby will be able to know new pals, exotic animals and visit thousands of magic places in the world."

Would you honestly think an adult watching this is in any way normal?
Does it mean you're a pedo? No, but it does involve issues of maturity.

Man, you must have missed the Zeitgeist completely (not surprising considering your encouragement of a scientific dictatorship with accompanying eugenics based on IQ of all things), modern cartoons are often designed to appeal to both younger and older audiences since studio executives found out that it is possible to do so (and is making them much more money). I'm not even a fan of My Little Pony, but there are dozens of other well-crafted cartoons out there with much wider target audiences and much more complex plots and characters than you give them credit for.
And about immaturity: Watching cartoons is just as much a sign of immaturity as watching brutal splatter horror films or the latest romantic sitcom, namely it isn't. And both are commonly seen as not very cerebral (though exceptions exist here as well obviously). The point being that entertainment doesn't have to be, but if it is and does not fit your stereotype of the genre, then accept it instead of accusing everyone who likes it of being "not mature enough".
Confused?
