The biggest foundation stone at the Temple in Jerusalem is estimated at 500-600 tons.
That is over a million pounds!
But the view in Israel is that the ancient Jews built the Temple and somehow moved that stone.
At the Mormon temple in Salt Lake City there are enormous granite and limestone foundation stones below the surface.
But the view in Salt Lake City is that the Mormon settlers built their Temple also.
That in 1847 a caravan of 143 men 3 women and 2 children came to Utah with oxen, wagons, blankets, rifles and flour.
And started construction in 1853.
That they quarried, transported, precisely cut and lifted into place all these perfectly shaped massive blocks of stone.
And created the high spires without cranes.
And carved out intricate designs in granite without electrical devices.
And etched the ornate engravings with a hammer and chisel.
Not only that but they did other magnificent temples:

In Logan in 1875
IN Manta in 1893.
And did other works of marvel in the 1800’s such as:
