When previous Trumptards are now seeing their ‘God-Emperor' as nothing more than a ‘RINO' now: they are now reduced to throwing him under the bus.

I don’t normally condone murder (though I am flexible and pragmatic on most of my beliefs), but Trump is such a piece of subhuman garbage (and the very embodiment of everything wrong with the US) that my biggest regret concerning him is that we can only get rid of him once…
Oh well, at least we still have our imagination .
P.S.: The funny thing is, I hardly even knew who Trump was, let alone cared in any way about him, until he became president. And then it all went downhill from there.
I’m guessing that the “sacrifice” in question is that their “way of life” (mostly really their bigotries) is/are under attack, and Trump appears to be taking a lot of the attacks in the form of constant media criticism. It feels safer to have a “strong” daddy figure looking out for people like them.
Of course, to quite a lot of other people, Trump is a narcissist and a bully whose only real strength comes from the office he’s elected to, and he doesn’t even wield that power effectively - scary and destructive as he is, it would be way worse if someone like Mitch McConnell were in his place instead. And he also generates most of the attacks he’s taking, so the “shield” he provides his followers is largely illusionary.

No, their position is that Trump made the ‘sacrifice’ by selflessly giving up his fortune in order to become President and save the nation (as opposed to using his position as President to enrich his fortune, which is what’s actually happening).

I never wasted time watching, reading about or thinking about Pig Vomit but I've known who & what he is for 3 decades. Those of us in the NY tristate area have known for decades but the rest of the country just loved wallowing in his hate & bullshit that they ignored us, & we all know what followed.
I truly despise him & his entire family & cabinet. They really are the embodiment of everything wrong with humanity & should he eat a hollow point, I will celebrate.
