Argentine 16-year-old girl's family #fundie google.com.au

Teenager gang raped before sister gouged her eyes out in horrifying exorcism ritual

A TEENAGER has allegedly been brutally raped by a group of men as part of a religious cleansing before the victim's own sister grouged her eyes out with a sharp knife.

The disturbing exorcism ritual has left the 16-year-old girl fighting for her life in hospital after the horrific ordeal.

Her family maintain they were trying to save her by purging a devil from the teenager's body after she 'saw goats that weren't there'.

Her family said they had believed she was possessed by the devil, and were seeking to save her.

At the end of the exorcism, the teenager was pinned down as her elder sister cut both her eyes out, it is alleged.

The horrific attack happened in the town of General Pinedo, in the north Argentine province of Chaco.

Police have arrested the older sister, who claims the local pastor ordered her to remove her siblings’s eyes in order to help drive out the evil things her sister was seeing.

The older girl said the devil was gaining access to her sister through her visions, and it was believed that because demons are terrified of pain, the act would drive out the devil.

It is understood officers are about to arrest a group of men suspected of taking part in the bizarre ritual and alleged rape.

The victim has been in the intensive care unit of the Perrando de Resistencia hospital where she was transferred to be treated for her terrible injuries.

Police commissioner Pablo Almiron said that the parents of the girl also believed she was possessed by the devil, and said she kept seeing animals like goats that were not there, and they had asked the evangelic centre and its pastor to help them "cure her".

He said: "It is the first time in 22 years of my career in the police to have an event of this nature.

"The prosecutor has also said that it is the first time in his life. It is very difficult to explain that something like this could happen to a teenager."

The older sister claimed that the religious centre , who provided her with a sharp knife, said that she must be the person to remove the eyes of her sister in order to cure her.

They're trying to twist the facts, using suicide caused by bullying as a sinful attempt to legitimize homosexuality. It's two entirely separate matters. Bullying is wrong, period. Christian kids get bullied all the time, but you don't hear any sympathy from anyone for them. Such alleged suicides like Jamey's lead me to wonder if this stuff is staged, because the gay community uses EXTREMES to justify the norm, that is, thy want to use jamey's alleged suicide to pass anyi-hate sppech and bullyying laws. it's always the same garbage with society... pass more laws, more laws, and more laws, until we're surviving in a Police State where noone can even open their mouth anymore. We're killing ourselves as a society, Now Homeland Secuirty is puting monitor thy neigubor typem propaganda on the sides of coffee cvups. no joke!

Jamey was infatuated with Lady gag's open support for homosexuals. Lady Gaga blasphemes Jesus Christ!!!

I know all about harassment and bullying. I've said this to mention reports in the mainstream newsmedia about homosexuals committing suicide because of bullying, especially teens.

As a born-again Christian, I know what it feels like to be bullied. Boy do I know what it's like! I've been bullied my entire life for being a zealous Christian. I've been called “baby Jesus,” a “Bible-thumper,” and a lot of horrible other things in the workplace. I learned eventually to laugh at my self, so I wouldn't get upset. Someone would yell, “Hey As*hole,” and I'd yell back, “Yeah, who called me?” I was a tender-hearted man working with some cold-hearted people, and the two don't mix. It wasn't easy.

I've worked at various jobs throughout my work career. I worked in a truck shop for a few as a mechanic. A man came up to me one day at work and asked, “Why do you carry a Bible into work each day? It bothers me.” I replied, “Why do you have Playboy magazines in your toolbox?” It kindly told him, “It's where your heart's at.” He despised me, as did others. Another man threw a 3 lb. hammer at me and missed. I opened my locker and found a 3-page dropdown centerfold of a naked woman. They put whiskey on my toolbox, cigar butts, grease, and garbage. I found a capacitor on my toolbox one day and went to pick it up. I jumped a foot in the air when it discharged as I touched it. One man, Bob, spit on me. Another guy grabbed me by the throat and held me up against a truck. They cursed me on a daily basis.

One man threw my radio on the floor and broke it because he didn't like my Christian music (but he played ACDC, Van Halen and the Devil's music on his radio). I complained to my boss and he said, “If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.” I had a family and needed my job. I was young in my early 20's and didn't know how to deal with all that harassment, so I endured and clung to my Bible. I put Scriptures on my toolbox. I prayed continually. God saw me through!

Bible Answer Girl #fundie google.com.au

Are people mammals?

No, people are NOT mammals or any other kind of animal!

Although people have some characteristics of mammals, they have certain qualities that set them apart from the animals.

First, God created mankind in his own image. He did not do that with the animals.

Genesis 1:26-27 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Second, mankind was put in charge of (had dominion over) the animals and therefore is above the animals and not equal with the animals.

Genesis 1:28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Third, mankind has eternal life. He breathed into Adam “the breath of life”, imparting to him an eternal soul. God did not do this with the animals.

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Fourth, man can kill animals but not other men because man is made in the image of God.

Genesis 9:3-4 Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs.

Genesis 9:6 “Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God He made man.

Fifth, animals do not have reasoning ability. Although there are some animals that are “smart” like dolphins, monkeys, and your dog. They do not have, nor will they ever have, the ability to do 3rd grade math problems, read a book, etc.

Sixth, they do not have language. Now that does not mean they do not communicate with each other, it just means that they are not able to hold an intelligent conversation or communicate their thoughts in written form.

Seventh, animals really only are concerned with the basics of life” food, sleeping, mating, etc. Humans pursue meaning in life though work, religion, play, and the arts. Mankind is set apart from the animals.

Eighth, God sent his Son to die for the sins of mankind so that we can have eternal life in heaven with him. He did this for mankind only and not the animal kingdom. Mankind was given a free will to choose whether or not they would follow God and serve him. Mankind rebelled against God and now each person is born with the sin nature. Animals do not have a sin nature. Each person needs to have their relationship with God restored so that they can have eternal life with him.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Eugene Holmes #fundie #homophobia google.com.au

Kim Davis inspires NC mayoral candidate to jail gays: ‘What’s wrong with eradicating homosexuals?’

A mayoral candidate in a small Charlotte suburb wants to “eradicate” homosexuality and throw LGBT people in jail, the Kings Mountain Herald reports.

Eugene Holmes, who is running for mayor of Kings Mountain, says he doesn’t want to be mayor, but he’s running because of his anti-gay views. He views Kentucky clerk Kim Davis as something of a role model.

“In my administration I would do just like Mrs. Davis did in Kentucky,” Holmes said. “If you elect me, I’ll uphold the law of the state of North Carolina. I would get the D.A. to swear out a warrant on any man who says he’s gay. Sodomy is a crime, a felony in the state of North Carolina.”

Holmes said he’s a member of the Church of God and also the Promise Keepers, a men’s religious organization.

“What’s wrong with eradicating homosexuals? We should jail them, throw them all in jail!” Holmes told the Herald.

Holmes has been jailed plenty himself. He was arrested in March for disorderly conduct and trespassing after he went to the Family Worship Center church in Kings Mountain and shouted derogatory and inflammatory things about the LGBT community, then refused to leave when asked, reports the Shelby Star.

Holmes wrote his own version of the incident up and gave it to the Star, which they printed:

(I) went to the Church of God (Family Worship Center) in Kings Mountain to request the Pastor Woodward let me talk to the men Sunday school class, for the promise keepers is a man thing,” Holmes writes in the letter. “I talked to Miss Woodward and hand her my business card and asked to speak to Brother Woodward. She started hollering ‘You are not going to talk to anyone here and to get out of the building,’ so I went outside. At that time the pastor and about 15 people was outside hullowing that they were queer and I ask the brother Woodward what about same-sex marriage indicated that there was nothing wrong with two men and two women defiling the holy matrimony of marriage.

The letter indicates he tried to make a citizen’s arrest at the church.

Holmes apparently doesn’t have any other plans for what he’d do as mayor, other than targeting the LGBT community. As of the Herald’s interview last week, he wasn’t worried about the economy because he believed “Wall Street is going to blow up” anyway. He expected the destruction to come as part of a “blood moon” omen on Sunday.

Holmes also wants to ban alcohol, divorce and all immigration to the U.S., the Herald reports.

He has apparently spent time in prison for felony theft and larceny convictions aside from his March arrest, the Herald reports.

Holmes was placed in a psychiatric ward for treatment after a judge found he needed evaluation following charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He says he was diagnosed as suffering from “religious hallucinations.”

This isn’t Holmes’ first foray into politics. He’s tried to run for the North Carolina House last year, but was rejected because of his felony convictions.

In his spare time, Holmes likes to pray and convert strangers, the Herald reports. If he’s elected, it sounds like he’ll still have plenty of time for that, according to his own assessment.

“The mayor doesn’t do much, in my eyes,” he told the Herald. “He just collects a paycheck. But (incumbent mayor Rick Murphrey) hasn’t had any competition in the other elections and I wanted to see what I could do. If I’m elected, it will be we the people who run the show.”

Vladimir Zhirinovsky #fundie google.com.au

Many Russians regard Zhirinovsky as a clownish figure who makes outspoken statements to grab attention but he is also widely viewed as a faithful servant of Kremlin policy, sometimes used to float radical opinions to test public reaction.

"Relations between Russia and the United States can't get any worse. The only way they can get worse is if a war starts," said Zhirinovsky, speaking in his huge office on the 10th floor of Russia's State Duma, or lower house of parliament.

"Americans voting for a president on Nov. 8 must realize that they are voting for peace on Planet Earth if they vote for Trump. But if they vote for Hillary it's war. It will be a short movie. There will be Hiroshimas and Nagasakis everywhere."

[...]

In other comments that have delighted Moscow, Trump has questioned the value of NATO for Washington, has spoken ambiguously about Russia's 2014 annexation of Ukraine's Crimea and suggested that the United States under his leadership would adopt a more isolationist foreign policy.

"He (Trump) won't care about Syria, Libya and Iraq and why an earth should America interfere in these countries? And Ukraine. Who needs Ukraine?," said Zhirinovsky, who once counted himself a friend of Iraq's Saddam Hussein and Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi and whose deaths he still laments.

"Trump will have a brilliant chance to make relations more peaceful ... He's the only one who can do this," he said, adding that Trump could even win a Nobel peace prize.

CLINTON "CRAVES POWER"

In contrast, Zhirinovsky described Clinton as "an evil mother-in law" and said her record as secretary of state under Obama in 2009-2013 showed she was unfit to lead her country.

"She craves power. Her view is that Hillary is the most important person on the planet, that America is an exceptional country, as Barack Obama said," said Zhirinovsky. "That's dangerous. She could start a nuclear war."

In typically chauvinistic remarks, Zhirinovsky said Clinton's gender should also bar her from the presidency.

"Most Americans should choose Trump because men have been leading for millions of year. You can't take the risk of having one of the richest, most powerful countries led by a woman president," he said.

Asked about lewd comments Trump made about women in 2005 that have harmed his campaign, Zhirinovsky defended the Republican: "Men all round the world sometimes say such things that are just for their comrades. We must only consider his business (and political) qualities."

Though Putin and Trump have never met, Zhirinovsky said he believed they could establish a close working relationship, adding: "Victory for Trump would be a gift to humanity. But if Hillary Clinton wins it will be the last U.S. president ever."

Pat Robertson #fundie #homophobia google.com.au

On Thursday’s edition of “The 700 Club,” televangelist and former GOP presidential candidate Pat Robertson expressed his concern over the way that “the girl-on-girl movies” are supposedly influencing young people to pursue homosexual relationships. When a viewer called in for Robertson’s advice about how best to deal with news that her 21-year-old daughter had begun dating a woman, the host offered some words of wisdom about LGBT millennials.

“I think she needs somebody to help her get her identity straight,” Robertson said. “She may not be right in this, she may have thought she has a crush on some older girl along the way and she’s actually homosexual when she’s not, I don’t know. The whole question of sexual identity has gotten so blurred in the press these days it’s hard to know. Why is she that way? Was she molested when she was younger?”

Robertson’s co-host, Terry Meeuwsen, went on to suggest that the problem is people “telling kids to explore, it’s crazy,” at which point Robertson weighed in once more. “The girl-on-girl movies,” he said. “More and more they’re getting straight actresses to play lesbians and straight men to play homosexuals — and if you say anything against homosexuality, you are just hooted out of court.”

Robertson concluded with some direct advice for his distraught viewer. “You need to love your daughter and give her a chance to work this out,” he said. “If she gets deeper and deeper in it, sooner or later she is going to be disillusioned and say, ‘this is wrong, I want to come out of it.’”

Among the belief systems of the world, evolutionism can be classified as an endangered species. Though it has many followers, it is not a “healthy” belief that can survive on its own. Other belief systems survive because they are supported or confirmed by scientific evidence and rational thinking. Not so with evolution. It survives only because it enjoys special protection under the law, which is afforded only to endangered species that cannot compete without such help.

Ralph #fundie #homophobia google.com.au

I will agree with you that homosexuals are often treated worse than people who commit other sins, but have you ever asked yourself why? I will give you a couple of reason I believe this happens. In the last 20 years (your whole life time) homosexuals have decided to "come out of the closet" so to speak. What they mean by that is that they will no longer hide their sin. Okay, as much as I hate the sin (all sin) I do understand that people who are un-saved will continue to commit them. However, what I don't understand is the fact that it is not just 'not hiding' their sin that they want, they want to flaunt it in everyone's face.

Here is an example that happened in the town where I live. There as a male teacher who decided that he was going to 'come out' and he did so in front of the students he was teaching. Many area pastors, parents, etc... were very upset and lobbied to get him fired. People on the other side said that they were being in tolerant and should show more Christian love. Even some Christians claim this. Here is my stand, I think he should have been fired. But allow me to explain. If a teacher came to his or her class and announced that they were a chronic liar, or an adulterer, or a child molester, or addicted to pornography and that they were coming out because they were not ashamed of it, then I think they should be fired also.

We would not put up with a heterosexual teacher bringing their sexual life into the classroom, so why should we put up with a homosexual teacher doing so? I will agree with you there is a double standard, but not as you seem to think there is. If you dare to speak out against the sin of homosexuality you are labeled as intolerant. Yet they can bash Christians all you want and no one cares.

Here is another point. You said you did not know anyone who wanted to be homosexual and therefore you do not think they have a choice. If that is true then why do they publicly announce that they are on a recruiting campaign? What does a recruiting campaign have to do with something no one chooses in the first place? Their own rhetoric shows there is more to this then a poor soul who can't help themselves.

Homosexuality is an advanced stage of rebellion against a holy God. Homosexuals are spiritually walled behind layers of sinful pride, lascivious lusts, anger, humanism, idolatry, resentment against God, ingratitude, foolishness and darkness.

Homosexuality is almost as evil as it gets. The infamous Cheshire, Connecticut, rape and murders of a mother (Jennifer Hawke-Petit) and her two young daughters (Michaela, 11 and Hayley, 17) in 2007, were committed by two thug assailants who both later confessed to authorities of having been sexually abused by homosexuals as youth. Don't you dare tell me that homosexuality is harmless. Evil begets more evil. All homosexuals have pederast (desiring young boys) tendencies. That's why NAMBLA exists (North American Man-Boy Love Association), who are trying to lower the age of consent so that they can sodomize America's sons. Jeffrey Dahmer (16 murders) was a homosexual deviant, as was John Wayne Gacy (33 murders). All 49 known victims were boys and young men.

Parents, teach your children the signs of homosexual behavior and how to protect themselves if lured. I admire Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has signed laws protecting Russia's children from homosexual propaganda and has banned the adoption of children by queers! Amen for that!!! Where's Anita Bryant when we need her more than ever in 2015?

Matt Slick #fundie google.com.au

• On the Pokemon rules website it states, "Carry your Pokmon with you, and you're ready for anything! You've got the power in your hands, so use it!"
• One observer of children playing the game said the children would afterwards mimic the game by summoning the Pokemon to attack others. This is occultic.
• Pokemon are summoned to do battle and to protect. This is equivalent to sorcery.
• Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water are frequent elemental themes found in Pagan religions, witchcraft, and Wicca, and are used heavily in Pokemon.

The spiritual side of the world is real. There are spiritual elements and demonic forces at work, whose purpose is to lead astray and destroy:

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places," (Eph. 6:12).

The enemy is powerful and cunning. The only light we have is the Bible, and we need to follow it and not give ourselves or our children into the hands of those who would introduce occultic principles in a role-playing game. Again, the Bible says...

"But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons," (1 Tim. 4:1).

There is nothing wrong with children having fun and using their imaginations, but when that fun involves the occult it is dangerous. As Christians, we should be very concerned about what our children are involved in since they can be so easily influenced. They don't need the influence of the occult or evolutionary theory to help them towards Christ. They need the truth.

You are over-reacting

Addendum - two months later:

This article has generated some interesting responses. I've been called delusional, bigoted, paranoid, and one who contributes to the decline of society because of my intolerant comments about an innocent and fun child's game. One mother, who claimed to be a Christian, emailed me with heavy complaints and accusations and sought to justify her actions in encouraging her children to watch Pokemon. Well, that is her prerogative.

Have I changed my opinion? Not at all. Am I delusional, bigoted, paranoid, and a contributor to social decay? I certainly hope not. And from what I see in God's word and from what I have seen in Pokemon, I still stand on what I have said.

I expect people to not like it when their comfort zone is rattled, when I don't tote the secular line and salute to "harmless children's games," even when they teach occultism. By the way, I told the Christian mother that the Lord will hold her accountable for how her children are raised. I asked her if she wants to continue to encourage her children to play with cards that teach casting spells, evolution, and controlling forces to do your bidding. She emailed me back and called me some names.

Others have simply assumed a non-Christian perspective and made judgments about me and this article from their non-Christian point of view. That isn't a problem. They are entitled to their opinions, as am I.

Is Pokemon good? I don't think so. Does it contribute to impressionable children accepting occult ideas? Yes, it does.

They following is a comparison between the King James Bible (KJB) and the satanic Easy-To-Read Version (ERV). Notice carefully that the KJB promises that God would preserve His Words unto every generation, whereas the ERV changes it completely, saying that God protects the helpless...

KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB) — Psalms 12:6-7, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”

EASY-TO-READ VERSION (ERV) — Psalms 12:6-7, “The Lord’s words are true and pure, like silver purified by fire, like silver melted seven times to make it perfectly pure. Lord, take care of the helpless. Protect them forever from the wicked people in this world.”

This single passage alone that I just shared with you, ought to be enough reason to convince you that the Easy-To-Read Version (ERV) is a satanic imposter and should be tossed into your garbage pail. It should be obvious to you, the reader, why the Bible-corrupting gang changed this passage of Scripture. If God has kept His promise to preserve His pure Words, then we can expect a pure word-for-word Holy Bible. Since there are literally hundreds of different English Bible translations, which all say something different, they had to change this Scripture to hide the wickedness of what they are doing (i.e., corrupting the Holy Bible for money).

If you have a King James Bible, then you possess God's preserved pure Words in your hands. But if you have dozens of different Bibles in your church and Bible college, then you cannot believe in a pure Holy Bible, and that's why the Devil's crowd changed Psalms 12:6-7 to say that God protects the helpless, instead of telling THE TRUTH from the King James Bible that God has kept His promise to PRESERVE HIS PURE WORDS.

[...]

God promised in Psalms 12:6-7 to preserve His words unto EVERY GENERATION. Psalms 12:6-7, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” I believe that the Textus Receptus is the fulfillment of that promise, upon which our beloved King James Bible is based. The KJB is inerrant because the Textus Receptus is inerrant. In sharp contrast, all of the modern Bible versions come from an entirely different text, which is corrupt.

[...]

Words are powerful, for they are the building blocks of every language. First, you have the individual words and their specific meanings. Second, you have sentences, which are composed of words that are arranged to communicate ideas, meaning and thoughts. And then there is context, in which sentences appear, which shed light on the overall meaning and intention of individual sentences. These three elements are critically important when communicating, and when studying God's Word.

So if I were the Devil, I'd redefine individual words like “repentance” to means something different than what the Bible teaches. I'd give a wrong meaning to what it means to be “born again.” If I were the Devil, I'd remove key theological terms from the Bible, like propitiation, Calvary, imputation, reconciliation and mercy seat (all removed from the new corrupt Bible versions)! If I were the Devil, I'd change the context of Bible passages, like Psalms 12:6-7 (which I showed you earlier). Instead of preserving God's pure Words, the new PERverted Bibles teach that God preserves the helpless instead (as I showed you earlier).

If I were the Devil, I would attempt to change the Bible relentlessly. I'd publish hundreds of different Bible versions, which all say something different, so the pure Words of God would get lost in the shuffle. 1st Corinthians 14:33 tells us that God is not the author of confusion. Well, people are very confused these days concerning WHICH BIBLE, if any can be trusted? Pastors are to blame, for going along to get along, instead of defending and fighting to protect the purity of the King James Bible. God has given to us His inerrant, inspired, preserved, Words. The NIV 2011 has changed the content 38.8% as compared to the NIV 1984!!! Oh how the churches are being corrupted by the Devil! Wake up!

Charles Darwin was a high-level Freemason and Luciferian-worshipper. Darwin's theories on evolution were nothing more than fraudulent so-called “scholarship” intended to form the basis for dehumanizing mankind in order to murder millions. In 1775, The Order Of The Illuminati founder, Adam Weishaupt (1748-1830), revealed a blueprint for world government. In order to succeed, a sinister ideal was required to reduce humans to the level of cattle to be slaughtered. The infamous father of 20th century communism, Karl Marx (1818-1883), published his Communist Manifesto in 1848, which reiterated Weishaupt's blueprint for world government.

Tragically, it was Darwin's very philosophies that would consequently inspire the brutal murder of 100,000,000 people during the 20th century. Monstrous dictators: Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao and PolPot were all devout followers of Charles Darwin's evolutionary theories, because they lowered human beings to the mere level of animals to be taken and destroyed on a whim.

Idaho dad admits he took pregnant 14-year-old daughter to marry her 24-year-old rapist

St. Anthony, Idaho – An Idaho man who took his 14-year-old daughter out of state to marry a 24-year-old man will spend at least 120 days in jail.

Keith Strawn was sentenced on one felony injury to a child charge Tuesday afternoon.

District Judge Greg Moeller ordered Strawn to serve a suspended sentence of four years in prison with two years fixed and two years indeterminate.

Moeller then sentenced Strawn to 120 days in the Fremont County Jail. Strawn will serve 60 days straight with Strawn being eligible for work release the remaining time.

“While you spend those 120 day in jail, perhaps you will think about the 120 days your daughter was in a vile farce of a marriage to a rapist,” Moeller said to Strawn during the sentencing.

In August 2015, Strawn took his 14-year-old daughter and then 24-year-old Aaron Seaton to Missouri to consent in their marriage.

Seaton, now 25, pleaded guilty to a rape charge in April and is believed to have impregnated her. The victim miscarried.

Seaton is serving a 15-year prison sentence.

Court records show Strawn “harbored and protected” Strawn by allowing him to live with his teenage daughter.

“If you get them pregnant then you marry them,” Strawn told Moeller during the hearing.

Strawn’s defense attorney, Douglas Knutson, recommended a sentence of six days in jail and probation.

Knutson told the court that his client’s decision to allow the marriage “might have been a religious motivation.”

“(The victim) told me herself that her father asked her several times during the trip to Missouri, and even the day of the marriage, if it was something she wanted to do,” Knutson said.

Strawn admitted to Moeller that his actions were wrong.

“I love my daughter very much and I would never do anything to intentionally harm her or put her in harm’s way,” Strawn said. “I made the wrong decision, and I made that decision in duress.”

Strawn was originally charged with two felony injury to a child charges and one felony charge of accessory to rape. As part of a plea agreement, the state dismissed two charges and Strawn pleaded guilty to one felony injury to a child charge.

The jail sentence was 110 days more what Fremont County Prosecutor Karl Lewies recommended, which was that Strawn be sentenced to a unified sentence of three years, one fixed and two indeterminate followed by a $3,000 fine. He also recommended that the prison term be suspended and Strawn not serve more then 10 days in jail.

We at Answers in Genesis have been saddened by recent news of a devastating earthquake that rocked Nepal on April 25. This earthquake and its aftershocks have killed thousands, levelled buildings, and left countless thousands homeless and hungry. It even triggered an avalanche on Mount Everest that resulted in fatalities.

Now, the headline of an article in the New York Times declares, “Ancient Collision Made Nepal Earthquake Inevitable.” The author writes, “More than 25 million years ago, India, once a separate island on a quickly sliding piece of the Earth’s crust, crashed into Asia. The two land masses are still colliding, pushed together at a speed of 1.5 to 2 inches a year. The forces have pushed up the highest mountains in the world, in the Himalayas, and have set off devastating earthquakes.”

But starting from the history recorded in God’s Word we know that this earthquake is not the result of a crash 25 million years ago and slow and gradual processes ever since. Instead, when we start with the history recorded in God’s Word, we know that this earthquake is one of the tragic consequences of the Fall and the global Flood of Noah’s day.

You see, God’s original creation did not contain earthquakes or any other natural disasters. When God saw all that He had made over Creation Week, He called it “very good” (Genesis 1:31). The original creation was free from any death or suffering. It wasn’t until Adam and Eve rebelled against God that death and suffering became a part of our world (Genesis 2:17, 3:1–24). The death and suffering caused by this earthquake is a reminder of sin and the severe consequences that rebellion against our Creator brings. Thankfully, we can have hope looking forward to the new heavens and new earth when “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4).

We know the collision of the two plates that created the fault line that caused this earthquake did not happen 25 million years ago. This collision of plates would have occurred during the global Flood of Noah’s day around 4,350 years ago. This global catastrophe—a judgment on man’s wickedness—completely reshaped the globe. It would’ve ripped the original, single pre-Flood land mass apart. The process that did this, catastrophic plate tectonics, likely caused by the breaking up of the fountains of the great deep (Genesis 7:11), would’ve rapidly moved those newly created plates into near their current positions. They’ve been moving slowly ever since. The catastrophic moving and colliding of these plates is responsible for many of our mountain chains, like the Himalayas in Nepal and even Mount Everest. The fault lines around the globe that cause earthquakes are also grim reminders of the judgment of Noah’s day.

Please be in prayer for Nepal and especially for our brothers and sisters in that country who are reaching out to victims with the love of Christ. Also, as they watch the news, many people will be asking how God could allow such a tragedy. I encourage you to equip yourself with the biblical answer to why there is death and suffering—because of Adam and Eve’s rebellion—so that you can answer their questions and point them toward the hope that we can have even in the midst of tragedy because of the sacrifice of Jesus and the salvation that He offers. It’s important to know that such tragedy is not God’s fault—it’s our fault because of our sin in Adam. God stepped into history in the person of His Son to rescue us from the problem we caused and the resulting separation from our God.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken

Cleric Mizanur Rahman #fundie google.com.au

A British hate preacher backed the Paris massacres just hours after the bloody events unfolded and told his followers ‘Britain is the enemy of Islam’.

Cleric Mizanur Rahman, of Palmers Green, north London, defended the brutal murder of 12 people at the Charlie Hebdo offices, saying ‘insulting Islam—they can’t expect a different result.’

Experts have warned the sermon, which backed the jihadists who killed 17 people over three days in the French capital, could incite further killings.

Speaking to an audience in London which was streamed online to thousands of his followers, Rahman praised Al Qaeda and said ‘Britain is the enemy of Islam.’

Sam Westrop, director of counter-extremism group Stand for Peace told the Sunday Mirror: ‘His kind of rhetoric is not an echo of Islamist terror and extremism – it is a driving force behind it.

‘It is truly reprehensible for him to speak like this, especially so soon after Paris.’

His speech on Friday night came to light after reporters from the Sunday Mirror gained access to an online live stream - they then notified the Metropolitan Police.

The newspaper reported that in the video Rahman claimed France was carrying out 'ethnic cleansing', and told his followers what happened in France was 'war.'

He said: 'These cartoons is part of their own war, is part of the psychological warfare...you know what happens when you insult Mohammed.'

Brad Pitt’s faith that God doesn’t exist wavers a little. He said, “I oscillate between agnosticism and atheism.” Sometimes he’s an atheist, other times he’s not. He said, “I don’t think anyone really knows. You’ll either find out or not when you get there, until then there’s no point thinking about it.”

[...]

According to Extra, Mr. Pitt told the Hollywood Reporter that he “got brought up being told things were God’s way, and when things didn’t work out it was called God’s plan.” He also said, “I grew up being told God is going to take care of everything and it doesn’t always work out that way. And then you’re told ‘Well, it’s God’s will.’ I got my issues. Man, you don’t want to get me started.”

If I had a meal with Brad Pitt, I would tell him that he heard the wrong gospel — one that wrongly portrays God as some sort of divine butler, who will come running when we click our fingers. It doesn’t work like that, and he’s not the only one who ended up disillusioned by that spurious gospel. I would also ask him to let me take him through a few of the Ten Commandments to show him that he is in great danger. The applicable analogy would be a man who is standing on the edge of a plane, 10,000 feet above the ground. He refuses to put on a parachute because he thinks he will find out if he needs a parachute after he jumps, and until that time there’s no point in thinking about it. To begin thinking about it is the seed that can grow into understanding the truth that “Jesus Christ has abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”

Jason Lisle #fundie google.com.au

In a video uploaded to YouTube, Seewald asked the institute’s Dr. Jason Lisle if he could prove that God existed.

Lisle explained to the 19 Kids and Counting star that atheists don’t really exist at all. “The evidence of God is ubiquitous. It is everywhere,” he told Seewald. “In fact, Roman 1 tells us that God has revealed himself to everyone, and what that means is, there is really no such thing as an atheist.”

People who identified themselves as atheists were suppressing their inner “hard-wired” knowledge of God, according to Lisle.

“So I don’t really have to give new evidence to a professing atheist,” he continued. “All I have to do is expose his suppressed knowledge of God.”

Lisle and Seewald agreed that people could not believe in morality if they didn’t believe in God, and suggested atheists who believed in right and wrong were stealing concepts from religion.

“I know there is also a lot of scientific evidence, we are here at the Institute for Creation Research, and there is a lot of — really, all science points to the validation of the Genesis account,” Seewald said.

Islam is a religion of bondage and heathendom, although Muslim women are unquestionably far more respectable, modest and concerned about morality than their average American counterpart slut. American women are a disgrace to the United States—a bunch of lewd, rude and crude sluts and whores full of raging anger, entitlement and are baby-murderers! Most divorces are filed by women, who are spoiled little brats, taught to quit by their own mothers, pampered by their foolish fathers. If the shoe fits wear it! Americans get what they deserve! Now I'm starting to preach. I'm so sick of this backwards idiotic society in America, where we ban God from our classrooms and then freak out when our society's children grow up to be selfish, out of control, monsters. Duh!

Pat Robertson #fundie google.com.au

Television preacher Pat Robertson on Tuesday advised a viewer — and his co-host — that they were “supposed to” reward their husbands with sex for helping with chores around the house.

A viewer named Carol wrote into the 700 Club because she said her husband “respects Pat’s opinion,” and she hoped the televangelist would side with her regarding a dispute about house cleaning.

“[M]y husband has always felt the need to point out when he helps with chores around the house,” the woman explained. “When he washes the floor, or does anything else, he always says, ‘Remember, I did that for you.’”

The viewer argued that her husband should stop viewing chores as a favor.

“I feel since we both live in the same house, he isn’t only helping me but the family,” she said.

Unfortunately, Robertson probably did not give the woman the answer she was looking for.

“Here’s the deal,” he said. “You’ve got to understand the male psyche. The male wants to do something for his wife. He wants to provide for his family, he wants to provide a home, he wants to provide shelter, and food. That’s what he feels his male obligation is. And when he cleans up, it’s saying, I love you.”

“And you’re supposed to say to him, ‘Darling, you are wonderful, and I love you too,’” the evangelist continued. “Instead of that, you’re saying, ‘We’ve got a deal. We have a partnership.’ Now, do you want to have a loving, warm, sensuous, exciting marriage or do you want to have a partnership? And would you like to have a business relationship with your spouse? And that’s what you’re asking for.”

Although CBN co-host Terry Meeuwsen didn’t buy Robertson’s advice, she called it a “wonderful perspective,” and she publicly thanked her husband for doing the dishes.

“He’s saying, I love you!” Robertson insisted. “Each dish, he’s saying, ‘Terry, I love you.’ If you understood that, you say, ‘Darling, I’ve got a treat for you— wait until we get behind closed doors, and you see the treat I have for you.’”

“You got it?” he asked Meeuwsen. “How to have a happy marriage, according to Pat.”

Pat Robertson #fundie google.com.au

Televangelist Pat Robertson warned on Thursday that the government was pushing technologies that would force every financial transaction to be controlled “by computer,” and it could be the “Mark of the Beast” described in the Bible’s book of Revelation.

“The Bible says that they cannot buy or sell without the Mark of the Beast,” Robertson noted in a segment about new financial technologies. “And people said, ‘Oh, well, that just fanciful Hebrew rhetoric that doesn’t apply to anybody real.’ Who would have thought that we could live in an age that that could literally come to pass?”

So-called “privacy expert” Katherine Albrecht told CBN that radio frequency identification technologies — or RFID — had “biblical implications.”

“There will be a time when humanity will be forced to take a mark,” she said. “And that mark will be on the right hand or the forehead. It is the number 666.”

But Robertson worried that it was not just RFID that was a sign of the End Times, it was all electronic financial transactions.

“We don’t want to scare people,” he insisted. “The times going to come, we’re not going to have any cash. We don’t need cash.”

“We’re going into some strange world, ladies and gentlemen,” the TV preacher continued. “The pros — the people who are in charge — find that paying cash are an annoyance, and they want everything on your cards. And they want it all by computer.”

“I hate to tell you, it’s coming. Because it is a control thing. And Satan wants to control the lives of all the world. He wants to be God, he wants to be worshipped as God. And he wants to have control over everybody, and that’s how it will be done.”

Robertson concluded: “Can’t buy, can’t sell without the Mark of the Beast.”

David J. Stewart #fundie google.com.au

I have been persecuted much for my Christian faith over the years, for which persecution the Lord promises us “GREAT REWARDS” ...

Luke 6:21-24, “Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.”

Did you get that? The Bible says to rejoice, even leaping up and down in joy, when people hate your guts because you preach and serve Jesus Christ. I love that! Jesus said to leap up and down for joy when people cast out your name as evil and speak evil against you, for His name's sake. I'm jumping up and down right now!!! Just kidding. My neck won't let me do that, but I'm leaping in my heart for joy! A lot of people say some really horrible things about me on the internet, which they would never say if it weren't for my online ministry for the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus tells me to rejoice and leap for joy! If you are a Christian, the whole world is waiting for you to fall. Job 16:9, “He teareth me in his wrath, who hateth me: he gnasheth upon me with his teeth; mine enemy sharpeneth his eyes upon me.” Psalms 37:12, “The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.”

People tend to condemn the righteous, while giving a pass to the wicked. Kindly, the guitar player for Journey ran off on his wife in adultery, but you won't read about that on Wikipedia. The singer for Boston put a hidden camera in his girlfriend's sister's bedroom, which when caught commit suicide, but you won't read about that on Wikipedia. The guitarist for The Who got busted by Scotland Yard police with 7,000 images of child porn images on his personal computer, but you won't read about that on Wikipedia. But Pastor Jack Hyles, who spent his life serving Jesus Christ, is wrongly portrayed as an adulterer on Wikipedia, and a horrible human being, for having a curtain instead of a solid door between his office and his secretary's office. This wicked world is sicko, insane and hypocritical!!!

Frankly, I don't think Wikipedia ought to allow any negative information about people to be posted in their database. I'm not condemning any of the men I mentioned, God forbid. I am a sinner just like anybody else (Romans 3:10-23). My point is simply that worldly entertainers are given a break by the ungodly world, but preachers are roasted. Why the unfairness? Why the double standard? Why criticize the preacher for unfounded allegations, while remaining silent about factual sins of musicians and singers? I certainly don't think we ought to criticize anybody for their personal sins, but all the more we ought not criticize the preacher based upon mere allegations that are nothing more than hearsay. And may I say, if you are a Christian and people aren't persecuting you, you need to get right with God and start living godly in Christ Jesus (2nd Timothy 3:12). Wicked people attack godly preachers in an attempt to ruin their name, destroy their testimony, and discredit their ministry—all in an attempt to undermine the preacher's message of truth that offends false prophets, unbelievers and unrepentant sinners! I thank God for faithful men of God, who uncompromisingly preach the Words of God without apology!!!

Mike Huckabee #fundie google.com.au

(a contentious exchange Tuesday at an Iowa campaign event)

LADY: You talk about children. What’s your views on child abuse?

HUCK: I don’t know of anybody who’s for it. I think it’s abominable practice that anybody to abuse a child. I think the ultimate form of child abuse in this country is abortion. It’s the most irreversible form of child abuse. But the abuse of any child, Regardless of what age, is unacceptable.

LADY: How come you support it then?

HUCK: How come what?

LADY: You support it.

HUCK: Now why on earth would you say I support child abuse?

LADY: You support it on your websites. When the Duggars came out and their son had molested the child, you more or less said that you felt sorry for the parents. Their parents let it continue for a year.

HUCK: I’m going to stop you — no. Let me stop you. Because you’re accusing me of supporting child abuse and I’m going to take you on with that because that hurts my feelings and it’s absolutely —

LADY: It hurts my feelings too that somebody like you are [sic] running for the American public.

HUCK: Ma’am, let me tell you something. You have no idea what you are talking about. You don’t know that family, and I do. You don’t know them. I’ve never supported child abuse.

LADY: So do you — so do you —

HUCK: Let me finish! Let. Me. Finish! You bet I can. This is my event. You accused me of supporting child abuse —

LADY: Oh, it’s all right, it’s your event — but if somebody disagrees with you —

HUCK: Ma’am, I’m going to finish. You do not know that family. I do. I never supported anything that happened to those daughters. I supported the fact that those daughters were maliciously and savagely abused, not just by their brother but by the news media who exploited them for their own purpose without regard for what it was doing to those young ladies.

HUCK: I know them. I’ve known them since they were babies. And you don’t. And you don’t know those parents. And you don’t know what those parents did. Or how they worked to try to take care of their entire family. You don’t know.

LADY: Locking those girls in their room? So Josh wouldn’t—

HUCK: You know because you read Tabloids. You read People magazine. You don’t know.

LADY: You know what?

HUCK: No, You know what? You’ve come in here to confront me, which is fine. But you cannot abuse, which is what you’re doing, the reputation of a godly family, who had been through hell because the son of theirs, one of their many children, did something evil and sinful— that nobody is backing up and supporting.

HUCK: But I would support any family who tries to work through their problems under the Grace of God. And as a Christian, as someone who believes that if a person has a problem in their family, that somehow they’re fair game, to be criticized without people knowing what the heck they’re talking about — So I’m gonna ask you to stop talking about them unless you personally know them.

LADY: The parents knew about it. They let it go on for over a year.

HUCK: They stopped it. And they began to seek treatment. You know not what you talk about, ma’am.

HUCK: You got what you wanted. You made a scene. We’re all very delighted that you were able to come and get your pound of flesh out of family that has been through a living hell. I hope you never have a child that has a problem.

You can believe anything you want and the world will accept you, EXCEPT Christianity. The rock band “THE BEATLES” sang praises to the Roman Catholic Church in the song “LET IT BE.” They promoted eastern religions in their song, “MY LORD” by George Harrison, promoting Hara Krishna.

There's only one satanism, one occult, one Satan, one rebellion, one antichrist spirit. That's very interesting. Why are there several thousand different religions in the world, but satanism is satanism? The reason is because Satan wants to create confusion to keep people from coming to Christ. Satan wants to blind people's minds from the Gospel, lest they should be saved (2nd Corinthians 4:4). The truth is that no religion can save you from Hell. Salvation is NOT found in any religion; but rather, in a person—the Lord Jesus Christ! Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living a religious life, without ever being born-again! Consequently, most religious people are going straight to Hell to burn forever.

Many famous people are Buddhists (Steve Jobs), Muslims (Barack Obama), Mormons (Mitt Romney), et cetera. Nobody cares if you're a member of some religious cult; but people go ballistic when someone professes to be a born-again Christian, unless you live worldly like the Devil. Charlie Sheen claims to be a Christian, but he lives like the Devil, saturated in sexual immorality and perversion. 2nd Timothy 3:12 says, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” If you're living godly, then you cannot tolerate homosexuality, you will be compelled as a God-fearing Christian to speak out against it as a sin. The sinful world will call you a hatemonger, bigot and fool. They crucified the Lord Jesus Christ, and they will crucify you if you take a Biblical stand against false religion, wickedness and the massive fraud at work in the U.S. government (CIA, Homeland Security, NSA, FEMA, White House, Federal Reserve System, et cetera). The U.S. newsmedia is controlled by the same wicked affluent people who have hi-jacked the federal government.

If you are a born-again Christian living for the Lord, you are the biggest enemy of Satan and the New World Order. The Godless world has the false philosophy that everyone is going to Heaven, no matter how wicked they are, unless they commit some really horrible crime. That's how unsaved people think. Yet, the shocking Biblical truth is that there are murderers in Heaven like Moses, David and Paul; but hardworking, sweet and likable people like Robin Williams, Mother Teresa and Steve Jobs are burning in Hell. You don't go to Hell because you're bad, and you don't go to Heaven because you're good. You go to Hell because you die in your sins, rejecting God's grace that freely offers salvation to all men. Even the vilest sinners like Lot, Samson and Paul (formerly Saul) are saved the moment that they come to God as a sinner and receive the Lord's sacrifice on the cross as payment for their sins.

Televangelist Pat Robertson warned on Monday that Jesus had said that an asteroid would destroy the Earth — and it could happen as soon as next week.

On Tuesday, three former NASA astronauts are expected to present their findings that the Earth had experienced far more impacts from large asteroids than previously thought.

For Robertson, the news was just the latest reason to hype his book, The End of the Age, which asserts that the End Times predicted in Revelation will be brought on by a meteor.

“I wrote a book!” Robertson advised viewers. “It deals with an asteroid hitting the Earth. I don’t see anything else that fulfills the prophetic words of Jesus Christ other than an asteroid strike.”

“There isn’t anything that will cause the seas to roil, that will, you know, cause the skies to darken, the moon and the sun not to give their light, the nations terrified on Earth of what’s happening. There isn’t anything that’s going to do that.”

He continued: “We’re big enough to draw some of them in. And as somebody said, it’s ‘blind luck.’ Well, it’s the mercy of the Lord. But if that mercy ever got lifted, whew.”

Robertson advised his viewers to “read what Jesus said” about “nobody living on the face of the Earth.”

“That’s what Jesus himself said!” he advised. “So, hey, just get ready. Get right. And stay right with the Lord.”

“It could be next week, it could be 1,000 years from now. But nevertheless, we want to be ready whenever the Lord says, ‘I’m wrapping it up, and it’s time to come home.’”

President Trump Touts His Accomplishments in Thanksgiving Message

President Trump wished Americans a happy Thanksgiving early Thursday morning on Twitter, but didn’t waste any time before boasting about his track record in the same tweet.

“HAPPY THANKSGIVING, your Country is starting to do really well,” he wrote. “Jobs coming back, highest Stock Market EVER, Military getting really strong, we will build the WALL, V.A. taking care of our Vets, great Supreme Court Justice, RECORD CUT IN REGS, lowest unemployment in 17 years—.!”

He followed up with another tweet: “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Four hours later, Trump posted what appeared to be an official White House video to Twitter. In it, he recited the history of the holiday and wished Americans a “blessed and joyful Thanksgiving.”

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/933720598383026176

He also made reference to challenges America has faced in the last year. “We pray for the Americans impacted by the devastating storms and wildfires that struck our nation. We mourn for the victims of the horrible shootings that stole so many innocent lives. And we thank God for the police, firefighters, paramedics and rescue workers who put themselves in harm’s way to save others.”

At the end of the video, he reiterated some of the claims of his earlier tweet. “Our country is doing very well,” he said. “Our stock market has hit a new all-time high, unemployment is at a 17-year low, we’ve created $5.5 trillion worth of values. We are doing something very special. People are feeling it. The enthusiasm in this country has never been higher. We are very very happy on this Thanksgiving day.”

After reading Martin Niemöller’s poem “First They Came For The Socialists—,” Moore decided to write his own version in honor of Davis: “Ladies in gentlemen, we can say the same thing today. They came for the bakers, I didn’t bake cakes. They came for the florists, but I didn’t deal with flowers. They came for the little clerk down in Kentucky by the name of Kim Davis, but I’m not a clerk, I have nothing do with issuing licenses. Then they came for me, and nobody was left.”

“This will touch every person in this room, every child in this room eventually,” he said of Obergefell. “This opinion is not like other opinions that have been issued.”

Pastor Steven Anderson #fundie google.com.au

In an interview with Phoenix TV station KPNX anchor Mark Curtis, Anderson acknowledged that he hates gay people and would reject his child if he or she turned out to be gay.

“You hate gay people —,” Curtis started.

“Yes,” Anderson replied.

“... I'm Jewish. How do you feel about Jews?”

“Oh, I don't hate Jews. I mean, that's just a straw man to try to compare me to [Adolf] Hitler. I don't hate Jews whatsoever.”

Anderson made a second reference to Hitler when asked how he would feel if his son or daughter turned out to be gay.

“Well, that's just a fallacy that it just turns out that certain people are gay. That's just a lie, because it's not random. It's not something that's just gonna accidentally happen to one of my children,” Anderson said, explaining that people become gay when they reject God.

“It's not going to happen,” he insisted. “If it did, I'd have nothing to do with them. That's like saying, what if your daughter, you know, grew up to be an ax murderer? What if your son grew up to be like Adolf Hitler? I mean, it's just a silly question.”

When Curtis noted the comparisons between Anderson and Hitler, the pastor rejected the suggestion.

“Absolutely not. I'm preaching the Bible, something Adolf Hitler rejected,” he said.

Meanwhile, a crowdfunding campaign to send Anderson lumps of coal on Christmas Eve has nearly doubled its initial $10,000 goal.

Televangelist Pat Robertson on Wednesday explained to his viewers that Robin Williams had recently committed suicide because “the heathen” worships false gods like fame and money.

“What is your God? Is it money?” Robertson asked. “So, when you get money, what’s going to happen? Is it fame? So, when you get fame, what’s going to happen?”

“You know, you see these very popular people in the media who commit suicide like Robin Williams recently,” he continued. “And you say, ‘What is the deal with him? What happened?’”

“Well, you see, the God of the heathen are idols. And everything that you seek in life will ruin you, unless that something and somebody is God himself.”

According to Robertson, no one would commit suicide once they have found his true God.

“Don’t let sexual attraction be your idol, don’t let fame or money or any of these things be your god, but come to the Lord Jesus.”

After encouraging viewers to pray with him, he asked that everyone call in to CBN.

“Pick up the phone, say, ‘Look, I just prayed with that guy on TV, I prayed with Pat, I gave my heart to the Lord,’” he advised.

Theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking can’t be one of the most brilliant minds alive today if he is an atheist, according to creationist and Christian minister Ray Comfort.

“The Bible says he is a fool,” Comfort said last month on his weekday video program, the “The Comfort Zone.”

In September, Hawking told the Spanish-language paper El Mundo that he did not believe in God because science provided more convincing answers to the origin of the universe.

“You know, if we disagree with the Bible, when someone says, ‘I’m an atheist,’ they’re saying, ‘I’m a fool,” Comfort added. “They’re saying nothing created everything, which is just ludicrous intellectual suicide. The Bible says he who denies God’s existence is a fool, and if we say the guy is intelligent, then we are denying what scripture said.”

Comfort, whose so-called “banana argument” became a viral sensation, said it was obvious that the universe had been designed by a higher power.

“It’s like someone who sits in a 747 [airplane] and says I believe this happened when nothing exploded and everything fell into place,” he explained. “Everything, the wings, all fell into place without a designer. That is ludicrous.”

Televangelist Pat Robertson warned a woman on Thursday that her daughter would go to hell if she continued to live with a man who was separated from his wife because living in sin was like being a serial killer.

“My daughter is a Christian and a good person,” a viewer named Brenda told Robertson in an email. “She lives with her boyfriend and plans on marriage, but he has to get a divorce first. Will they go to hell for this sin?”

“The answer is yes!” Robertson insisted. “She’s a good person, but she’s living in adultery. That’s Hollywood. ‘Oh, he’s a good person, but he just killed five people, and he threw his mother down the steps. But he’s a good person.’”

“Nonsense!” he exclaimed. “It is adultery! She’s living with a married man who is still married, and she’s a good person? Baloney.”

Josh Duggar admits to porn addiction and being ‘unfaithful’ to wife: ‘I have been the biggest hypocrite ever’

Conservative anti-LGBT activist and former reality TV star Josh Duggar admitted Thursday that he had been “unfaithful” to his wife.

The former lobbyist for the Family Research Council was outed by Gawker this week after hackers leaked information from the cheating website Ashley Madison indicating he had two paid accounts. He just released the following statement admitting he is a hypocrite.

I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.

I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.

I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust.

The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings.

As I am learning the hard way, we have the freedom to choose to our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences. I deeply regret all hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example.

I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.

Josh Duggar

This week, hackers calling themselves the “Impact Team” dumped user information belonging to 37 million Ashley Madison subscribers. On Wednesday, Gawker revealed that Duggar, who has actively campaigned that same-sex unions will denigrate the institution of marriage, had two paid accounts seeking extramarital affairs.

Gawker mined the leaked material and discovered that Duggar paid a total of $986.76 for two monthly accounts from February 2013 until May 2015, when molestation allegations became public.

According to data, Duggar was seeking the following activity with a woman who was not his wife:

“Conventional Sex,” Experimenting with Sex Toys,” One-Night Stands,” “Open to Experimentation,” “Gentleness,” “Good With Your Hands,” Sensual Massage,” “Extended Foreplay/Teasing,” “Bubble Bath for 2,” “Likes to Give Oral Sex,” “Likes to Receive Oral Sex,” “Someone I Can Teach,” “Someone Who Can Teach Me,” “Kissing,” “Cuddling & Hugging,” “Sharing Fantasies,” “Sex Talk.”

He also paid $250 toward an “affair guarantee,” in which the site promises money back if users aren’t successful in having an affair within 3 months.

On “The 700 Club” today, Pat Robertson fielded a question from a viewer who wondered why her husband hasn’t been healed from a medical condition despite intense prayer.

Robertson responded that the woman’s husband probably isn’t a faithful Christian and may actually want to be sick: “There are some people, you know, they enjoy their sickness. That is terrible to say but that is their excuse not to compete, ‘well I’d love to compete but my lumbago’s got me so I can’t do it.”

TV preacher Pat Robertson asserted on Tuesday that the Supreme Court would eventually rule that humans could legally have sex with animals and children.

During the “Bring It On” segment of The 700 Club, a viewer expressed outrage over a deceptively edited video in which a conservative group claimed that Planned Parenthood was selling body parts from fetuses.

“The pro-abortion community says a fetus isn’t ‘human’ until born, but they are obviously human enough to harvest their very human body parts,” the viewer wrote. “How could this kind of sociopathic hypocrisy possibly be legal?”

According to Roberson, the Supreme Court had “messed things up” by legalizing abortion and same-sex marriage.

“They haven’t allowed the reason or our collective consciousness to play, but they’ve come up with these strange rules,” he explained. “Same thing about separation of church and state, etc.”

“You watch what’s going to happen now,” the televangelist continued. “They’ve just said abortion is a constitutional right, they have said homosexuality is a constitutional right, they’ve said now homosexual marriage is a constitutional right.”

“Watch what happens, love affairs between men and animals are going to be absolutely permitted. Polygamy, without question, is going to be permitted. And it will be called a right.”

Co-host Terry Meeuwsen predicted that “relationships with children” would also be legalized.

“There have been groups that have been trying to push that for a long time,” she pointed out.

“Well, they’re going to succeed now,” Robertson agreed. “Because intellectually, you can’t get around these Supreme Court decisions.”

“We are stuck with a fix doctrine of five old men on the Supreme Court,” Robertson concluded, adding, “They’re not all old anymore.”

Pat Robertson informed viewers today that he once saved a woman “in Africa” who was “watching a tape of ‘The 700 Club’” just as a “group of thugs came into her house and threatened to kill her.”

“While the program I was on the air, I began praying, this is a tape mind you, and the power of God fell so strong that those thugs were literally paralyzed and they began to run from the house they were so terrified because of the power of God on that program, on that tape,” he said.

Robertson was responding to a viewer who asked if his “words of knowledge” about viewers, which he says can heal members of his audience, can work for people watching reruns of the show.

TV pastor Pat Robertson warned on Thursday that the government could force Christian florists and bakers out of business if they did not cater to weddings where men marry dogs.

After a Washington state judge found on Wednesday that a Christian florist had violated the state’s anti-discrimination law by refusing to sell flower arrangements for a same-sex couple’s wedding, Robertson asserted that an “intelligent judge” would have ruled against the gay men.

“To say that some procedural anomaly in the statute overrides the fundamental religious freedoms of the people, it’s just crazy,” he insisted. “And I hope that the lawyers for this florist will appeal this thing to get into the federal courts.”

“But this is outrageous!” the conservative preacher continued. “To tell a florist that she’s got to provide flowers for a particular kind of wedding. What if somebody wanted to marry his dog? She’s got to have flowers for that? What if there’s a polygamous situation where a guy has five wives and he wants to have five ceremonies, and she’s going to be forced by the law to provide them flowers. I mean, this is crazy.”

Robertson recalled that a court had also ruled that George Washington University had to provide accommodations for a “campus gay group.”

“I asked [Cardinal John O'Connor], ‘What would you do if you were in charge of it?’ He said, ‘I’d close the school down. Just like that, I’d close it down.’”

“Well, some of these bakers and florists may be forced out of business if the courts make them do things contrary to their beliefs,” the televangelist concluded.

(referring to the article on Wikipedia about the geocentric model)

I found this article on Wikipedia and noticed it had misinformation in regards to the Bible, and tried to edit it, but the "free-thinkers" on Wikipedia wouldn't allow a pro-Bible viewpoint, so here it is on my website with minor changes that permit the Bible to speak. I won't say I'm a strong advocate of Geocentrism, but I am open to the idea. I also don't see any issue with the Heliocentric model either. The Bible is compatible with either position. Mainstream science is unsure on which position is correct, and some believe both positions are equally valid with arguments to support either theory. Although Heliocentrism is a generally accepted theory by a majority for our universe, it is not proven.

National Geographic is a heathen publication, which denies the Bible. Instead, they teach that an asteroid struck the earth billions of years ago and a big piece of the earth broke off, somehow became round, and that's where our moon came from . . .

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2007/12/071219-moon-collision.html

If you believe that you're a fool sad to say. The moon didn't break off from the earth. The Bible teaches in the book of Genesis that God created the sun, moon and stars . . .

Genesis1:16, “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”

The lesser light to rule the night is the earth's moon. God is an awesome God!

“Psalms:89:37: It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah. ”

Psalms:94:11: The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

Anyone who can look at the round moon and believe that at one time it broke off from the earth, by a massive impact from a speeding renegade asteroid, must be really desperate to believe anything other than the Bible. The moon looks perfectly round. If an steroid crashed into the earth billions of years ago, there wouldn't be anymore earth.

The fact that 95% of the earth's core is composed of molten liquid rock (lava) proves National Geographic magazine and all the so-called scientists who believe the moon/crash theory, WRONG! If an asteroid impacted the earth, nothing would break off because of the liquid molten core. How did the earth end up at just the precise distance from the sun to sustain life on earth? How does the earth maintain a heated mantle (7,000 to 12,000 degrees Fahrenheit) by gravitational accretion (20%) and the decay of radioactive isotopes (80%)? Do you really believe it just happened? God created the earth this way. Hell is inside the earth. Isaiah 14:15, “Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”

A famous British evolutionist, Sir Arthur Keith, is just as frank in his admission. He says, "Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it because the only alternative is special creation which is unthinkable."

What would happen if I were to stand up before my congregation and say, "My friends, Christianity is unproved and unprovable, but you still ought to believe it"? They would get up and walk out, and rightly so. But that is the way men accept evolution.

One of the stock objections to the Resurrection is that Jesus didn’t appear to more people. But the problem with this objection is that infidels will always move the goalpost.

1. Suppose Jesus appeared to Pilate. Suppose we had an ostensible firsthand account of his appearance to Pilate.

How would infidels respond? Their first resort would be to deny the authenticity of the account. It must be a 2C forgery, or something like that.

And they know it couldn’t be authentic since dead men don’t return from the grave. So you have a circular denial.

2. But suppose the account was authenticated. How would infidels respond?

i) Their next resort would be to ask rhetorically, What’s more likely: that Jesus really did appear to Pilate, or that Pilate lied, or hallucinated, or we have a case of mistaken identity, &c.?

ii) They’d add that ancient witnesses can’t be trusted. They’re so superstitious, you know. So that feeds into their confirmation bias. They see what they expect to see. Things that go bump in the night.

3. Suppose Jesus appeared on national TV. How would the infidel respond?

He might says: What’s more likely: that dead men return from the grave, or that his television appearance was a computer-animated illusion?

4. Suppose Jesus made a personal appearance to the infidel? How would he respond?

i) He might say, How do I know it’s Jesus? What does Jesus look like, anyway? And it’s not like I can do a DNA match.

ii) Or he might say, What’s more likely: that dead men return from the grave, or that I had a hypnagogic hallucination?

iii) Or he might say, Even a space alien impersonating Jesus is more likely than Jesus appearing to me. At least space aliens, if they exist, are naturally possible. And any naturalistic explanation, however unlikely, is more likely than any supernaturalistic explanation like a miracle (i.e. the Resurrection).

One of the most common avenues of demon-possession is alcohol and drug abuse. In fact, the Old Testament Hebrew word for “sorcerer” is the same root word from which we get the modern term “pharmacy.” Demons, drugs and alcohol are synonymous, just ask any woman who's ever been addicted to heroine or cocaine, who prostitutes herself out for $1,000 per night, to support her drug addiction habit. Only they can testify as to the demonic powers they witness before their eyes, and the power of Satan over their life. The answer is not rehabilitation, reformation, nor education; but regeneration through faith in Jesus Christ. Acts 26:18, “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me.”

If you research the matter, you will find that in every case demon-possession, some type of substance abuse is almost always involved. Hundreds of mainstream Rock music singers, Hollywood actors and worldly entertainers have testified that they were possessed by devils while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or some type of substance abuse. Case in point is Rock legend SANTANA, who has publicly said that he receives his musical inspiration from a demon named Metatron.

If you haven't watched the following 2:08 hour documentary yet, please do so: The Bloody History Of Communism. The common denominator between mass-murderers Margaret Sanger, Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin and Mao Tse-tung was a devotion to Charles Darwin's teachings on Natural Selection (aka, the survival of the fittest garbage). Whereas the heathen world teaches dog-eat-dog and every man for himself, the merciful God of the Holy Bible teaches, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Leviticus 19:18).

Pat Robertson on Wednesday called on NASA to stop spending time and money exploring other planets because he said that God’s only “experiment” with life was on Earth.

“Folks, I want to tell you something,” Robertson told viewers of The 700 Club. “They talk about life on other planets. In my opinion, there’s nothing but gaseous balls and barren rocks up in space. That’s all that’s there.”

“This planet is where God has got an experiment in what he wants to have accomplished,” he continued. “But somehow, people want to spend a lot of money to go to Mars! I don’t want to think that Mars is someplace I want to visit, and it would take a lot of money to get there!”

“But nevertheless, our government, our NASA is exploring new horizons.”

Today on “The 700 Club,” Pat Robertson and his co-host Terry Meeuwsen talked about children born with cleft palate and Down syndrome, the latter of whom Robertson referred to as “mongoloid” children.

“So you see these little children that we call mongoloid, you know, Down syndrome, sweet little children but the back part [of the head] hasn’t formed,” he said. “It’s a deformity, if you have a little girl, can you imagine having a big hole in the mouth?”

Earlier this year, Robertson advised a viewer to be careful against marrying her first cousin since “you don’t want to have some mongoloid child.”

The dishonest media news outlet, USA TODAY, slander Pastor Steven Anderson, accusing him of calling for the killing of gays. That is NOT what Brother Anderson said, and I've listened to the sermon in question numerous times. Pastor Anderson simply upholds the Biblical teaching that God calls for the killing of adulterers, witches, murderers and homosexuals. Like it or not, that is what the King James Bible teaches. The deceiving newsmedia deliberately leave GOD out of their accusations. By blaming Pastor Anderson, they attempt to blame him personally, avoiding bringing God into the issue.

JC's Girls' Website Promotes Immodesty and Mocks God's Holiness

The article at www.BustedHalo.com, Stripper Salvation, goes on to state...

Veitch and her cohorts play up their sex appeal on their website and in their personal appearances because it adds to their credibility in an industry obsessed with physical beauty. "I understand the culture of these girls" says Veitch. "They respect that.

Play up their sex appeal? How does this statement compare to 1st Timothy 2:9 from the Word of God, "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array." These three women dare to call themselves "Christian", while simultaneously promoting immodesty and lasciviousness? Blasphemy!!! Heather Veitch even promotes immodest "Holy Hottie" pants and tank-tops for women, which you can buy through her website. The words "Holy Hottie" are deliberately written across a women's private area to attract men's attention to that part of her body. This is so evil. These women are NO Christians. They are selling whorish clothing in the name of Christ.

The JC's Girls' website also features Pimp-My-Profile.com in several places. So much for the 700 Club! Only an apostate ministry would support what these girls are doing. They're not getting anybody saved, they're exploiting Christianity to make money, and stupid people are sending it to them. These girls are still celebrities in SIN CITY!

It is evil and wrong for JC's Girls to "play up their sex appeal" in order to draw people to Christ. How crazy is the world going to get before the Lord returns to clean up this mess? What next, Christian Rock-n-Roll?

The Bible plainly says,

Revelation 13:16-18, “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

It also should be considered that the number 6 is the number of mankind. In Romans 6:6, the word “man” is the 6th word of the 6th verse of the 6th chapter of the 6th book of the New Testament. I don't get caught up into Biblical numerology that much, but it's preeminence throughout the Scriptures cannot be denied. God cleverly assembled the Bible in such a way that it is evident that the Lord loves numerology (the study of numbers).

God wouldn't have tossed out the challenge in Revelation 13:18 to compute the number of a man, who will be the Antichrist, unless it were possible to solve. At no point throughout history have Christians been able to discern Biblical prophecy as accurately as today, because we are blessed to literally be living in prophetic history (that is, prophecy is history written in advance). The New World Order is unfolding before our very eyes, being called for by name around the world by the leaders of nations, scholars, the Pope, scientists, educators and influential people from all walks of life.

We are witnessing prophetic history being fulfilled. I am confident that the challenge in Revelation 13:18 was put there by God for more than just our mere curiosity; but rather, as a lamp unto the feet of the saints who will be persecuted and many martyred during the Tribulation by the Antichrist. Remember, the Antichrist cannot be introduced to the world until the Rapture of the saints (2nd Thessalonians 2:7-8). So, in my humble thinking, I would think that the challenge of Revelation 13:18 will not be solvable until that time. I am grateful to God, and feel so blessed every time I read the Bible, to have such a clear view of Biblical prophecy.

The Old Testament prophets didn't understand what they wrote. The prophet Daniel even saw things from the End Times in visions, and desired to know what they meant, but God told him it wasn't meant for him. Daniel 12:8-9, “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”

It is abundantly clear that we are now living in the End Times, during the time of the feet of iron and clay of Nebuchadnezzar's image. The Second Coming of Christ is represented in Nebuchadnezzar's dream by a STONE cut from a mountain without hands, which is Jesus Christ, who will smash the image (the kingdoms of this world), and establish His own Kingdom. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Why do atheists believe in magic?

Atheism sounds pretty silly to me. They believe the universe magically came out of no where and then it magically created cells in goo which magically turned into a human over millions of years. I don't have even faith to believe in magic, which is why I'm a Christian.
