US Government: Litigating Arm For Islam?

Those who vehemently loathe the Judeo-Christian roots of America, have always squealed a false narrative whenever they wanted to distance themselves from America's founding principles: Separation of church and state.

The "it appears" in that sentence lets us know that what follows is complete bullshit. Not a single person has been prosecuted for criticizing Islam, Allah or Muhammad, because that protected by the First Amendment. However, I am a fair-minded person and willing to admit I could be wrong and that the Department of Justice may be enforcing shari'a. You have been publicly critical of Islam and, as you point out, this has grave consequences which those enforcing a reign of terror are unlikely to let pass. So, if your words have any truth to them, perhaps you could let us know the name of the jail at which you are currently being held.

Note that free speech rights of non-elected government employees are routinely limited -- they are obliged to support the position of the /government/ in general or resign. The degree of restriction depends on the degree to which an observer would believe the expressed position represents the view of the government. For example, a police officer /in uniform/ posts a video blog insulting Allah is likely to be subject to discipline. The same officer /not in uniform/, or in a written blog that doesn't make a big deal out of his or her police role is unlikely to be subject to similar discipline. In one case, the speech interferes with the ability of the government to present a consistent message to the public -- in the other, it doesn't.

Note that /elected/ officials are not subject to these restrictions.

Which specific Judeo roots are you thinking of?
It's usually the ones who vehemently clutches the "Judeo-Christian" roots of America, that want to distance themselves from Separation of Church and State.

They're not advocating Islam, they are simply saying that if Christians have freedom of religion, so should Muslims. They're only freedoms if everyone has them, ya know.

Christianity has a loong history of converting, enslaving, killing and a reign of terror.

The executive branch of the US government shouldn't enforce any religious laws, including Christian ones. So, no more "faith healing" of children, no tax exemption, no exemptions from performing certain medical procedures, etc. Happy?

As has become apparent with you shits, supporting either Trump or Cruz, calling people names and making shit up about others to diss them IS ALL YOU CARE ABOUT. That and pretending your religion is benevolent in every way. But it's mostly the hate and fear of others you're in it for, they're both pushing every button in those categories. Trump just brought his chief Christian fear mongering in and she went on and on about how you should be scared of,,, something,, and speak your mind about,, something and how Trump has some sort of answers for,,,, something You Betcha.

There is something called diplomacy, it's not bending over or agreeing with the other side it's the practice of reasoned arguments and attempts to defuse escalating verbal wars. The Obama administration has to counter the crap you people keep spewing on top of this.

And again, wasn't a chirp heard from the right wingers to this day about the close connections Reagan, The Bushs and Cheney have had with these 'couldn't have seen that coming' terrorist uprisings. Friggin MCain was bitching to congress only a few years ago because they wouldn't fund his soon to become ISIS middle eastern pals. He's their early poster boy buddy. Crickets.

How is Islam a political system any moreso than Christianity or any other religion?

Where does Islam say that? Some Muslims want to do that, but the vast majority don't.

Okay, so some Muslims do that, the majority are not involved in it. Some Muslims support that, but I bet the vast majority of that group wouldn't actually carry out those actions themselves.
