Just a handful of years ago when I was in my late teens, I was *all in* on the nostalgia shit because I had (and still have) fond memories of how things *used* to be. I rode the tail end of the Vaporwave trend. The thing is, at least Vaporwave was generally dominated and appreciated by people who actually remembered the fucking things.

All these kids want to do is feel interesting and special and cool without putting in any effort. So many young peoples' hobbies are just "looking a certain way" rather than actually being an interesting person.

For trannies, leftists, and manchildren, Nostalgia to them is an escape from the complications of the real world.

They miss the times when things were normal, they were normal and they didn't push people away, but they'll never admit that to themselves.
