New Age Christians here could argue against this subject and this wont help anyone so I wont go into a lot of detail but most Christian prophets think Cern's aim is to open the 'other side abyss' allowing demonic entities to take over our world. Practically that is already happening and there have been a lot of paranormal visions over the world. It amazes me how much of these are not published more! - like strange cloud formations, cities in the sky, loud noises trumpet sounds etc
A few years ago just one of these things would have been World News but now there is no fuss no one bothers because we have all been hypnotised by the world-wide web

Yeah, they're full of shit just like you are!

You really think if such things were really happening, that the internet would result in less coverage about them? Really!? In the times of smartphones, YouTube and Twitter?
That's adorable.
World news? Weekly World News, maybe.
Seriously, Doom was NOT a documentary, or even a dramatization. It was just a game!
Most Christian prophets? Who are they, and what are their credentials?
Cern's aim is to learn more about the Universe.
Funnily enough, it's only people who believe in demonic entities that have seen paranormal visions...
No, dearie, strange cloud formations haven't been World News for several hundred years.
It amazes me how much of these are not published more! - like strange cloud formations, cities in the sky, loud noises trumpet sounds etc
That's not strange. That's Lando Calrissian having a jazz party.
....It amazes me how much of these are not published more! - like strange cloud formations, cities in the sky, loud noises trumpet sounds etc....
Weird cloud formations are not paranormal, just rare weather occurrences....

...."EMERGHERD! A Pinkie Pie! It's PARANORMAL! NOT!"
And that jazz about floating cities involved mirages, hoaxes or horribly-mistranslated Chinese news articles....

...They couldn't be bothered to fact-check because..."clickbait", baby! The original video simply showed low-floating clouds...fog, actually...sitting over a river (during a flood, which was the real news) and a lady commented in Chinese that it LOOKED like a floating city, not that it was one. Non-Chinese mistook the woman's statement and saw clickbait bucks.
Stupid people (the reporters, not the Chinese)!
That other "floating city" footage....

....looks like a viral campaign for a movie.
As for the trumpets....

This guy's explanation is the best.
....A few years ago just one of these things would have been World News....
You forgot to put the word, "Weekly" before the "World News", dummy!
The LHC. Ring-shaped, is it not...?
I suggest you never play any of the "Halo" games, if you know what's good for you, Falkland. >:D
"now there is no fuss no one bothers because we have all been hypnotised by the world-wide web"
So why are you using it, then...?!
@Bashibozkedi
Or maybe they were the 'Floating Islands' from the future as per those in the anime series "Steel Angel Kurumi", and they've travelled back in time and are just here to check on things; ensuring those Terracotta Warriors are still in place: as stasis sarcophagi containing advanced female androids - powered by 'Angel Hearts' - to ensure Earth's security from any potential alien invasion; the LHC is merely a secondary defence, to create a wormhole to suck in any hostile aliens and remove them from this dimension.
...hey, sounds more credible than anything that the "Weekly World News" can dredge up, even if it is the best form of journalism as Agent K would say.
@SpukiKitty
Well, Pinkie Pie can warp reality, so...! /)^3^(\
@MOOSE!
Pinkie Cloud is Best Cloud!
On an unrelated MLP note, I'm surprised this face didn't catch on on the Fandom....

It's like what happens when "So Awesome!" & "But I Didn't Listen!" got together and had a foal....

"Mom" & "Dad" of "Deranged Fashion Magazine Reporter Guy Face".
Aw, heck! I'm making a Demotivational of this point and I'll show it to you guys AND Deviant Art!
AMD HERE IT IS!....

people, you're all way behind your times. the Weekly World News most sadly quit publication in 2007, due to a massive conspiracy of government and aliens to suppress the truth mismanagement. its online-only successor doesn't count, due to being Just Not The Same.
"... most Christian prophets think ..."
Wait, there are more prophets? How do you go about becoming a prophet exactly? How do you know if someone is really a prophet? Does God just randomly choose who to give his messages to? Are Prophets just speculative Christians? Do you have to get vetted by the Board of Christian Prophets, or get voted in or something? Religion makes no sense.
cities in the sky
Ok, strange cloud formations and loud noises trumpet sounds aren't going to get me upset, but cities in the sky? WTF is that supposed to mean?
Like in Star Trek? Will she be there?

... like strange cloud formations ...
Oh, no! Not strange cloud formations! Surely not strange cloud formations! (Woops! Sorry. I didn't mean to call you Shirley.)
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
