"Then again, they could have saved themselves a lot of trouble, time, and money if they simply listened to Genesis chapter 1. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand the first four words: "In the beginning God...”
Which one, though? There's two conflicting descriptions in your Bible. Besides, people these days no longer care about the 'why's or even the 'who's about the universe; these days it's how.
Inquiring minds need to know.
When your so-called 'Bible' can give us exact, precise descriptions using detailed diagrams, equations, formulae etc about how this universe was supposedly 'created' (as per you - and your Bible's - 'claim'); also about this 'God' of yours, how he works, what makes him tick etc, "Gray's Anatomy"-style), then get back to us Mr. Cumfart.
...ah, and there's the rub, eh?! Because if your so-called 'Bible' could give us all the exact, precise information we need about the 'how's of 'Creation' - it'd no longer be 'Creation', but a scientific paper based on evidence. Facts. Proof denies 'faith', and all that jazz, ergo Christianity is annihilated. QED.
...if it's not already on it's way to complete annihilation. Y'see, the modern world you see around you - and live in - Mr. Cumfart, is precisely because of enquiring minds needing to know. Otherwise, we'd be living in caves, wearing animal furs and eating raw food; fire is a technological development after all.
Why are you even using that computer Mr. Cumfart? Developed by Alan Turing. An Atheist and homosexual. Whose enquiring mind delving into the complexities of mathematics and the electro-mechanical application of such, resulted in the earliest digital computers; the basis of such inspired later enquiring minds to come up with the computer you're using today.
I don't see no 'Made by God' on any of it's components. So no hypocrisy on your part, nosiree. [/sarcasm]
