I'm calling all Christians on this board, all God fearing, God loving people, to open your eyes to this subject who considers himself a follower. We absolutely need to keep Bush in office. He has done a fabulous job and will keep our country together. We may be losing troops everyday over in the middle east. Just remember, that every man who dies over there for us, shares the same glory that Jesus recieved when he died for us.

Boy, considering Bush was only elected in '04 because he promised to keep Teh Gay down, it's ironic that he describes Bush's job as "fabulous". Also that his version of Jesus carries an assault rifle.

Energy is more expensive now than it has been at any time in recent history, we're stuck in two hideously expensive wars at the moment, we're up to 4,000 dead in Iraq with tens of thousands wounded with no end in sight, the drums are beating for a third additional war with Iran and possibly Syria, and our economy is imploding in on itself like a dying star as America ghetto-fies itself. But fuck all that, you defeated gay marriage, and that's what really counts.

So...a soldier dying in the Middle East to protect the "interests" of oil barons and imperialist governments carries the same weight as the traditional Christian view of Jesus dying to save the world from itself and awaken it to life eternal?
