Is this an argument from beauty or an argument from fine-tuning? If it’s the former, then it doesn’t work any better than any other argument from Beauty. If it’s the latter, God could’ve fine-tuned it a bit better so that there would be an eclipse every new moon instead of about every 1.4 years.
If your god was really all that and a bag of chips, he'd rearrange the stars to spell, "Yo, I did this because I am the greatest!" and leave us no room for doubt.
But in the real world, we just have a very nice coincidence. It's just as much proof of Artemis and Apollo.
You know, what WOULD be proof of God would be if the eclipse ONLY happened in Mecca. Or Stonehenge. Euro-Disney. Maybe the site of teh first Atomic Bomb test. No matter the year or time of year, any time you’d expect an eclipse, it singles out a significant site and shows that it’s significant to The Great Choreographer.

Slight problem with that: The stars would be in that pattern before we developed any kind of writing system. So if they spelled something, it would be because we patterned it after the stars, not the other way around.
