Swearing on a Bible is a tradition, not a requirement, for taking the oath. Again, Article 6, bitch.

So you just totally ignored that little ceremony on the steps of the Capitol Hill where he too the oath for POTUS in front of Justice Roberts and everyone? The only reason he did it a second time is because Roberts fucked it up the first time and they were worried a legal challenge might ensue. Hence, he took a second oath just in case.
