People still harp on the 1988 C-14 Dating of the Shroud of Turin that dated back to they "think" 1200 A.D. (only skeptics though), or perhaps older to the 1st century A.D. But in 1995, this was retested and determined to be in the 1st century, around the time of Jesus. Likely authentic. We also have the box of James which is also an Authentic find and displays Jesus's name (James the brother of Jesus himself). And Jesus's cross has also been uncovered. We have also determined that the Garden of Eden has been located.

The Shroud of Turin has been shown to be a fraud not just through carbon dating but other means as well.
For instance, the image , especially the face, is too symmetrical and could not have been produced by lying over a body. Also, the image of the front is taller than the image of the back.
The box of James has likewise been proven to be a fraud and has been traced back to its creator.
And which of the many crosses or pieces of cross that purported exist throughout the world are you speaking of?
As for the GoE, how do you locate something that never existed?
Yea, Star Cluster!
Casey, I can sell you the Golden Gate bridge, and I have some beachfront property just off Oahu that is perfect for you. I'm going to go dig around in my yard awhile. I'm sure I've got some biblical relics out there for you.
It started bad, then the middle sort of trailed off, and the less said about the ending, the better....
Wow, lies, lies and more lies... So much wrong in so few sentences.
Star Cluster, not to mention the 'blood' was analysed and the guy who said it was paint got kicked off the team and they went with the fact that one of the elements in the paint also exists in blood. Also the nice things like the bible describing the other substances the shroud was wrapped round Jesus with - traces of none of them were found.
And it's very easy to find the Garden of Eden - Chapter two describes 4 rivers the heads of are in the garden. - one's in Ethopia, two are in Turkey and the 4th's in Yemen and it's dried up. Adam really had his hands full tending that lot - I would've quit too.
So where is this garden of eden? I mean, if you really found it, wouldn't it be on the front pagre of every paper?
The liberal, atheist press is hushing things up again.
Excuse me, did I wake up in the 13th century? OK Casey I can give you a deal on a feather from the wing of the Archangel Michael, just $ 2998.99 (it's a closeout, he's moulting)
Well the few pieces of the cross that they HAVE tested - were all fakes.
They were about 800-1000 years too young in most cases...
Plus as modern thinking is that prisoners there were probably tied to a tree (the cross was originally representative of the shape of a crucified jesus, not of what he was on) I doubt they will find any that aren't fake.
Casey's got his eyes firmly shut and both fingers in his ears and he's going "La, la, la, la, la" as loudly as he can. Poor guy.
I have experience with Casey Powell at the CARM forum. He really is a cold-blooded liar, not a self-deluded liar or anything like that. He hijacks the identities of credentialed people and uses the credential to back up his assertions. Don't treat him like a normal fundy, because he isn't. He is a psychopath.
Just a comment. The only justification of the shroud is that C-14 is less reliable in a margin of 2000 years. There has been no second checking which has been turned positive. And the story of James, has been prooved to be a fraud. If you´re not a troll, check the facts.
I remember seeing a documentary on the ossuary and a few other things that guy faked; it was pretty impressive seeing the methods used to disprove his creations. And, hell, I also thought the guy himself was a genius, albeit one who used his talents for fraud, rather than good. But in this case, it appears that after all the regular people have realised it was a hoax, fundies are still banging on about miraculous discoveries, further proving their fuckwit status. So I suppose some good came of it in the end.
Christianity's bona fides are established by authenticities such as these? Bye-bye, Christianity. (He's right about the Garden of Eden, though. It was situated to the southeast of Billings, Montana. The Garden is now covered by a shopping mall.)
They actually proved that you can create a personal shroud of Turin using a black box and certain chemicals to transpose an image of a person to the cloth...it's called a picture.
Someone took a mannequin or a dead body, posed it against a wall and exposed the fabric to light and chemicals and created the shroud of turin.
Did you know that with all the peices of Cross there are, there would be about a million of the things? Kind of like the arm bones of John the Baptist. There were so many of those floating around the medieval world that John by rights should've been as many armed as Shiva the Destroyer.
Slainte!
Also, the American court system works,
the war on drugs is a success,
O.J. is innocent,
reality TV is a good thing,
prayer can move mountains,
and Paris Hilton is a virgin.
also, where is the garden of eden if it's been found. why isn't it on the world news, new gossip, or any of the types of media. yea casey, i thought

I would have thought it'd be fine at 2000 years - you'd have just over 20% of the original C-14 decayed. I would expect that you'd have to drop down to about 500 years before you start hitting the limit.

WOW Thats real specific! Thanks for the doofusly generated information. Give us no facts (you don't tell us who this alleged, "creator" was, nor do you actually give us any details on why professionals believe the shroud to be a fraud), but if you kindly go to the CARM discussion boards, I pull up all of the sources I needed to prove my points here. That should be enough for you to eat my socks.
Garden of Eden, why not ask the professional Archaeologists who have dug it up <dope>. You crazy Atheists, just no clue whatsoever do you?
This page I dub is the page where the chicken craps don't have the balls...that hang high enough to come face me face to face.
ha, this is the same casey powell from the FSM website. this guy is the biggest loser. i think that on his myspace page a girl even said 'you are the biggest loser'.
No you're reading YOUR myspace son. The girls like me...(dope!)
Again, no soup for you.
And the FSM quote unfortunately, not written by me, as I have thoroughly debunked anyone who has alleged the comment to me over and over again.
Old hat, do get with the program.

Ya mean, the same stupid modernists who made Santa Claus into a myth?
YEAH! Brother like they're real reliable with their information, and they NEVER EVER Poison the well, do they?
Thought you guys didn't believe in carbon dating?
Ya see, this is the stupidity from Atheists we have to deal with everyday. We do believe in carbon dating. Its accurate to about at maximum 50,000 years. But we've only been able to trace back 10,000 years, so we believe the Earth is 10,000 years old! We go with facts, not assumptions.

<You may wish to try closer to the Middle East numbskull.>

<Don't listen to Abe, he's an idiot! I've been nothing but honest in every action I've ever undertaken at CARM.>

Its in the Middle East...near the Iraqi area from what I understand.

<Another one who has not yet heard of the 1995 retesting of the shroud of Turin! Way to go fools.>
Have you also located Mjolnir and Asgard?
From Wikipedia:
"According to former Nature editor Philip Ball, 'it's fair to say that, despite the seemingly definitive tests in 1988, the status of the Shroud of Turin is murkier than ever'."
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
