CALLER: My question is it, what makes one medical expert better than another medical expert, particularly in terms of something like hydroxychloroquine?

RUSH: That’s an interesting question. So you’re essentially asking me why when one medical expert says hydroxychloroquine sucks does he get listened to and another medical expert, “No, no, no, the stuff is good,” is he ignored?

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: Politics.

CALLER: Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. (laughing)

RUSH: I mean, you laugh, but politics is the answer to the question out there, Jenna.

CALLER: Yes. Yes. Absolutely. I mean it seems to be in everything.

RUSH: Hydroxychloroquine may as well be a slave owner.

CALLER: Yeah. That’s true. Absolutely. I mean, obviously there’s people that have been cured by it successfully. Nothing works 100 percent successfully for everybody. There certainly are these side effects, every commercial that you ever hear, every other —

RUSH: Well, you know, I’ll tell you something, that’s true too. There are always, even in certain medicines, some of them work on some people, some of them don’t on others.

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: We’re all different.

CALLER: Hm-hm. Yes. Absolutely.

RUSH: We’re all different gene makeup. There’s so many different factors that go into this. So the answer to your question, sadly, is politics.

And the politics of this, folks, let me find — I’ve got time, find the sound bite. Quickly, quickly. It’s number 11. Grab sound bite number 11. Last night CNN, Wolf Blitzer to Thomas Friedman, New York Times. “Do you see an end in sight to all this COVID stuff and everything else?”

FRIEDMAN: Oh, I do see an end in sight. It’s in November. I will walk. I will crawl. I will slither. I will bike. I will hike. But I will be going to the polls to vote for Joe Biden because until, unless we replace this president and this administration, we’re gonna be having the same conversation every day. All right? That is what this is about. It’s about removing this man who has no business being president.

RUSH: There you have it. It’s all gonna end in November, folks. Wolf Blitzed, “When is this gonna end, Thomas? When’s it gonna be over? Do you see an end to this?” Yeah. Yeah. November. But, you know, I have a reaction to this for the lovable and adorable Never Trumpers out there and a lot of you weasely Republicans who think, like Friedman, that Trump is the problem here. But I’m gonna have to get in the monologue segment of the next hour.

RUSH: Can Thomas Friedman name one thing Biden would do that’s different? He can’t think of one thing because Biden doesn’t know what he’s gonna do. Friedman probably thinks he’s gonna be on the committee running the country. That’s probably what’s going on.

Rule of Thumb

To find the liar, look for the one who says everyone else is lying.

I’ve got the solution to all this. I’ve got the solution to most crime in America. From this day forward, somebody propose it, liberals should not be allowed to buy guns. It’s just that simple. Liberals should have their speech controlled and not be allowed to buy guns. I mean if we want to get serious about this, if we want to face this head on, we’re gonna have to openly admit, liberals should not be allowed to buy guns, nor should they be allowed to use computer keyboards or typewriters, word processors or e-mails, and they should have their speech controlled. If we did those three or four things, I can’t tell you what a sane, calm, civil, fun-loving society we would have. Take guns out of the possession, out of the hands of liberals, take their typewriters and their keyboards away from ‘em, don’t let ‘em anywhere near a gun, and control their speech. You would wipe out 90% of the crime, 85 to 95% of the hate, and a hundred percent of the lies from society.

[From the transcript of Limbaugh's 11.24.10 show: "White Man v. Native Americans]

Now, democide, as genocide, democide, let's check the scoreboard. How many Native Americans were killed by the arrival of the white man through disease and war? All right, now, you're not gonna like hearing this, folks, but we're checking the scoreboard here. Supposedly there was a democide out there. The white man showed up, and the Indians, the Native Americans, started dropping out there. We killed 'em. Horrible. You've seen the movies. All right, what's the number? How many Native Americans, how many Indians were killed by the arrival of the white man through disease and war, and how many people have died since the white man arrived here due to lung cancer thanks to the Indian-invented custom of smoking tobacco? Who are the real killers here? And I say this with all political correctness. I mean it's politically correct to be totally opposed to smoking, totally opposed to tobacco, other than when you're getting tax revenue from it, and I don't. So you tell me. How many Americans have died thanks to an Indian invention versus how many Indians died because we got here? Now, you run the numbers on this. Where are our reparations? I'm just saying. See, I told you to have the kids listen to this show while you're driving around and not listen to some video.

[...]

There is so much distortion, so many lies, so many untruths taught to our innocent young skulls full of mush throughout American history about Thanksgiving and one of the things that has been taught is that the arrival of the white man, I don't know if it was the Pilgrims or whoever came later, Christopher Columbus even prior to that, and what happened was that the Native Americans were basically slaughtered. They were wiped out. We came in here, we basically took what wasn't ours and it was devastation out there.

But I ask if we could run the numbers on this. Does anybody know the total number of Native Americans killed as a result of the arrival of the white man? When we get that number we need to compare it to the number of tobacco deaths since the white man arrived in this country because it was the Native Americans who figured out what to do with tobacco. Smoke it, and in some cases chew it. And we've been told that tobacco smoking, cigarette smoking, all that, is deadly, lung cancer and so forth. How many millions of people die every year because of it? Add up the number of years, and who really killed who here in the New World? It's just a question. I'm just saying.

[...]

Now, here. I have, from the Twentieth Century Atlas, the historical body count. We looked it up here. According to actual causes of death in the United States, 2000 Journal of the American Medical Association, 435,000 people died because of tobacco in 2000 alone. According to the Centers for Disease Control, tobacco use is responsible for one in five deaths annually, 443,000 deaths per year in the US. World Health Organization says that worldwide tobacco use causes more than five million deaths per year. Ward Churchill, the pretend Indian plagiarist said that 12 million Indians were killed by the white man. You compare 12 million once to five million per year for however many years and I think you can see what I'm talking about here.

Have you heard the latest Democrat scam? Have you heard about the agriculture department's financial grants to lesbian farmers? You think I'm making this up? See, this is how they do it. All right. I hadn't intended to get into this right off the bat. Let me find it here in the Stack because it's something that's happening. It's actually real, and there is a strategic reason for it. Here it is. Are you ready for this? It's two pages. Let me pull 'em out here. It is from the Washington Free Beacon. That's the website.

Headline: "Feds Holding Summits for Lesbian Farmers -- USDA wants to change image of farmers from 'white, rich male.' The US Department of Agriculture is holding summits to promote the role of lesbian farmers as a part of its 'Rural Pride' campaign. The agency is working with singer and LGBT activist Cyndi Lauper for a 'day of conversation' about the struggles of gay and transgender individuals in rural America. [USDA] says its wants to change the perception of what it means to be a farmer in America away from the 'white, rich male.'"

Now, I understand farmers are not "rich." This is part of the disinformation campaign. "Rich, white male" is how the left describes pretty much any constituency group that they're opposed to. What the point of this is, folks... It's not about lesbian farmers. What they're trying to do is convince lesbians to become farmers.

You sit in there and laugh. Okay, go ahead and laugh at it, but I'm telling you what they're doing. They are trying to bust up one of the last geographically conservative regions in the country; that's rural America.

Rural America happens to be largely conservative. Rural America is made up of self-reliant, rugged individualist types. They happen to be big believers in the Second Amendment. So here comes the Obama Regime with a bunch of federal money and they're waving it around, and all you gotta do to get it is be a lesbian and want to be a farmer and they'll set you up. I'm like you; I never before in my life knew that lesbians wanted to be farmers.

I never knew that lesbians wanted to get behind the horse and the plow and start burrowing. I never knew it. But apparently enough money can make it happen, and the objective here is to attack rural states. They're already attacking suburbs, and that has been made perfectly clear by what happened in Milwaukee. They're going after every geographic region that is known to be largely conservative. They never stop, folks. They are constantly on the march.

Now, folks, on this, I know a lot of you, you hear this thing -- a bunch of leftists want to try to stop men from looking at women -- and you think they can't do that. That's not the point. Whether they can or can't, it will gain momentum, and it may not be for years, but this is who they are. This is how inane and inviolate they are of basic human nature. It's one of the biggest ways to understand liberal. They just despise human nature and try to alter it and change it and create it, because many of them just don't fit in with it in many ways.

But there's a way around this, guys. You gotta have fun with this, as you know. So let me offer suggestions. The first suggestion, the first way to deal with this that came into my mind, is you find yourself staring, looking at, casually glancing at a woman, but you know that it's now socially taboo. You shouldn't be doing it, and you think everybody is noticing you doing it and condemning you in their minds. You shouldn't be doing it. So you walk up to the woman and say, "Would you please ask your breasts to stop staring at my eyes?"

Try that.

It might help.

You don't know 'til you try it.

Right. Yeah, there are a lot of hot buttons out there. One of them is Darwin. All I have to do is say Darwin, I don't care what follows, I get loads of e-mail from people ripping me. You wouldn't believe it, Snerdley. My e-mail this week has been overflowing with people shocked, "I was shocked! I thought you were reasonably intelligent man. I'm a subscriber to your website and I have been listening to you for 20 years, but I can't believe how uninformed and embarrassing you are on Darwin." And all I said was Charles Darwin and Karl Marx are responsible for more deaths than even global warming. And, man, survival of the fittest, maybe Darwin didn't say it, you know, frankly, I don't care about Darwin, either. As far as I'm concerned Darwin is corrupt and everybody that believes in Darwinism is corrupt and they present a problem. Well, somebody thinks he said survival of the fittest and so they're running around saying so. So all I said was we know that liberals love Darwin.

Liberals love anything that allows them to say there's no God. Liberals will go anywhere and support anything if they can use it to say there's no God. Okay, fine. Then they come up and they say survival of the fittest, fine and dandy. Well, then why don't they let survival of the fittest rule in American society? They love Darwin, and they love survival of the fittest except when it comes to America. Now they want equality of outcomes. They don't want survival of the fittest. They want survival of the incompetents. In fact, they want the incompetents to triumph over the competent. They want the incompetent, the incapable, the stupid, to triumph over the genuine creators of wealth and the entrepreneurs, and that's what's wrong with these people. And if Darwin helps them get there, then they'll use it. And man, I'm telling you, a guy called and asked me about Darwin, evolution or whatever, I told him what I think and my e-mail was just overflowing. I almost had to get a satellite account to handle the overflow, Snerdley, and every one of them was arrogant and condescending: "I can't believe how stupid you are. I had so much invested in your intelligence, you really need to reexamine what you think about Darwinism." These people that believe in Darwin are no different than people who have faith in Jesus Christ or Mohammed or what have you. It's fascinating.

[In reaction to President Obama’s plan to reduce gun violence]
(Obama's) using these kids as human shields. Obama uses kids as human shields. The Democrats use kids as human shields. He brings these kids who supposedly wrote letters to the White House after Newtown, brings them up there to present a picture of support among the children for the president to do something about guns. It's gonna be very difficult, very difficult to oppose it. You got these little kids there. They don't want to die. (imitating a child crying because they don't want to die) How can you not listen to them? We've gotta do something. That's the picture. That's the image that the presence of the kids is designed to create.

[Rush Limbaugh and a caller discuss a video of black students beating up a white student on a schoolbus.]

RUSH: Worse than the obvious verbal taunts, we all know the racism that was in the kid's mind. I mean Newsweek magazine says he was born a racist. So you know the white kid is sitting there thinking N-word and all kinds of things being surrounded by these black students. They knew that. They knew that and so they just descended on the kid and beat him up. We've seen the videotape. What did the police chief investigate?

CALLER: He did not comment on anything other than he said more investigations shows that it was not racially motivated.

RUSH: I think the guy is wrong I think not only was it racism, it's justifiable racism.

CALLER: True.

RUSH: I mean, that's the lesson that we're being taught here today. Kid shouldn't have been on the bus anyway.

CALLER: Right.

RUSH: We need segregated buses. It was invading of space and so forth. This is Obama's America.

[Obama] wouldn't have been voted president if he weren't black. Somebody asked me over the weekend why does somebody earn a lot of money have a lot of money, because she's black. It was Oprah. No, it can't be. Yes, it is. There's a lot of guilt out there, show we're not racists, we'll make this person wealthy and big and famous and so forth.

Rush Limbaugh #fundie rushlimbaugh.com

You know, a couple of days after the health care bill had been signed into law Obama ran around all over the country saying, "Hey, you know, I'm looking around. The earth hadn't opened up. There's no Armageddon out there. The birds are still chirping." I think the earth has opened up. God may have replied. This volcano in Iceland has grounded more airplanes -- airspace has more affected -- than even after 9/11 because of this plume, because of this ash cloud over Northern and Western Europe. At the Paris airport they're telling people to head to the train station to catch trains out of France, and when people get to the train station they're telling people, "There aren't any seats until at least April 22nd," basically a week from now. It's got everybody in a shutdown. Earth has opened up. I don't know whether it's a rebirth or Armageddon. Hopefully it's a rebirth, God speaking.

[about Expelled: The Movie]

Darwinism, of course, does not permit for the existence of a supreme being, a higher power, or a God. His interviews with some of the professors who espouse Darwinism are literally shocking. The condescension and the arrogance these people have, they will readily admit that Darwinism and evolution do not explain how life began. One of these professors said it might have been that a hyper-intelligence from another planet came here and started our race. This from some professor either in the UK, I forget where it was, but can't be God. These people are so threatened by the existence of God, they will not permit intelligent design to be discussed. Professors have been fired, blackballed, and prevented from working who have deigned to try to combine the whole concept of evolution with intelligent design.
