[Comment on article on a book connected to the Holocaust]
We'll be hearing about this 'holocaust' for the next six million years.
Original sin.
Eternal atonement.

As well we should. Widespread persecution and murder should always be part of a history lesson, lest we allow it to happen again.
And it should be, as it is a part of history, just like the crusades, the first wold war, Cold War, and other atrocities committed by assholes..
The Daily Telegraph is generally considered a quality paper in the UK and, despite its conservative slant, I agree. Case in point: The article was an interesting and thoughtful one.
What I didn't know, until I clicked on the link just now, was how many shitheads the paper obviously attracts. You expect this sort of thing from the Daily Mail's readers, not the Telegraph's.

Which proves the unjustness of your god, dishing out infinite punishment for a finite crime.

...I have not the words nor the presence of mind to try and tell you what an ignorant monster you are for claiming that the Holocaust was ANYTHING other than the wholly-unjustified attempted slaughter of an entire people, such is my rage at your complete and total bastardry.
You and your ilk are the reason I don't sleep well at night.
We should NEVER stop teaching about the Holocaust or any genocide. When we stop telling our children about them and warning them about the consequences of rampant hate and racism, then we welcome these things to happen again. The Medz Yeghern, the Holocaust, Bosnia, Darfur and Rwanda and every other mass murder or ethnic cleansing should never be forgotten. And I hope that in the far future we will still look back on the 20th and 21st centuries and feel great shame as a species for the things we did to one another.
Your 'original sin' has nothing to do with it, and why should people today be punished for a mythological crime that supposedly happened thousands of years ago? If your God thinks that is just, than your God is a monster and not worthy of worship.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
