Hello, Shoto! I've been a fan for quite some time and I've been wanting to get this off my chest. I think it's time for you to realize that you are 100% gay. Bisexuality is NOT a real thing !!! I know for a fact you are 100% gay because the way you talk about men is with so much love and passion and with women, well, it's clear you feel no attraction or love for them. (I also think that the reason you say you are bisexual is so that you can satisfy your parents) I hope this makes you realize you are 100% gay !!! I hope you have a nice day/night!

Don’t usually first-comment on my submissions unless it’s to add further context, but I gotta say this is just disgustingly parasocial, invasive of Shoto’s privacy, and bigoted as fuck. You don’t get to dictate how people identify or how they express their sexuality. Bi people– but especially bi men in this case– don’t need this sort of condescending support.
(I also think that the reason you say you are bisexual is so that you can satisfy your parents)

I really wish people would stop doing the whole ‘I’m going to come out as bi because my family will accept that better and then later come out as lesbian/gay’ thing. I know there are some people that may think they are bi at first so they come out that way and then later maybe discover that they are much more monosexual than they thought. I’m not talking to those people, I’m talking to the people who know they are monosexual but use our orientation as some kind of disguise because they think we have it easier. And I’m also talking to people like Dan Savage who has said on his show that he thinks it’s ok for people to do this, that he doesn’t think it hurts anyone and I’m here to say that no it’s not ok and yes it does hurt people. It hurts bi and pan people.
It helps keep us invisible. It encourages people to try to “help” bi and pan people by encouraging us to stop identifying as bi or pan and come out again as gay, lesbian, or even straight depending on what someone’s majority attraction might be.
It also enforces the gross stereotypes of bi men as just confused gay dudes and bi women as slutty, performative attention seeking straights. And it encourages others to think of the identity as some sort disguise and thus not actually important.
We are not your disguise. Our identity is not for you to put on because it’s convenient and then discard when it’s not of use to you anymore.
Well, those streamers have, what they say on the internet, the receipts. What goes on the internet stays on the internet. Employers have this thing called Google. I hope this makes you realise that those who don’t have your wrong opinions will have more than just a nice day/night.
