I’m belgian; we’re probably a more socialist than liberalist country, depending on who you ask. We also allow gun ownership , but it’s STRICTLY regulated. So while you are legally allowed to OWN a revolver or two at most (only after psych evals and background checks) even then you aren’t allowed to carry it in public. I know, because my uncle used to own a smith & wesson.
Anyway, do you know how many “school shootings” we’ve had in the last 20 years? NONE that I can even remotely remember.
So, yeah, there goes your argument. America’s problem quite literally IS guns. That, and far-right assholes.

Ever notice that the NRA forbids guns at their conventions? And in the city they hold their gun-free conventions, the numbers of gun deaths decrease sharply. Exactly because the people that would be walking around armed and dangerous are disarmed. They’re not escalating a bar argument into a shootout. They’re not shooting themselves by accident. Fewer gun range fatalities. Guns are certainly an American problem.
Since he probably means a lot more than Marxism-Leninism (although wouldn’t the second necessarily imply the first?) by Communism, we should find a way to apprise him that the earliest Christians, at least according to Acts, had a pretty socialistic quality themselves.

You can try, but it’s an exercise in utter futility. These are the same “christians” who, should you somehow confront them with the “actual”, “historical” Jesus of Nazareth, would certainly denounce him as a “filthy, brown, hippie commie!!!” and lynch him.
You cannot even call them actual christians anymore. NOTHING of Jesus’s biblical teachings are followed by them.
Considering that neither democracy nor liberalism are communism, it's only your straw man, a false premise for the rest of your bullshit. I don't need to watch the video, I already know it'll be more falsehoods.
